Cabwise

Great idea, but the app sucks! The hit boxes for the buttons are way off. Even if the developers would have followed a tutorial, the app would be better. Such poor quality! Probably made by someone's kid.

The app is a complete failure on my android. Much better and reliable when you texted the cabwise number.

Tells me it cannot connect and I want to pay 35p for a text to get three minicab numbers. No thanks. I will just walk down the road to the local cab office. No idea how tfl could allow this app to be launched. Doesnt respond. I though my phone had frozen!

No longer works on my android phone have uninstalled ot as it is a waste of space literally and otherwise.

This app was absolutely brilliant! Unfortunately after the latest update it stopped working on my android phone. Such a shame

The first page you see on this app is the book the minicab or book a black cab, so when I go to press the link, nothing happens. It's like it's completely frozen and doesn't want me to book a cab. There have been times where I'm in a situation and I need a cab ASAP but the app won't let me tap on the link?

Used to rely on this app a few years ago for getting local trusted taxis. But now it doesn't work (android phone).

I used to use Cabwise quite a lot. Last year, I used this app to get a taxi to rush my other half to the hospital where we had our first child. So fair to say, Cabwise worked when I needed it most and I'm very grateful for that. The only reason I'm dropping a star is because the recent updates have been marred by multiple bugs and performance issues. I now have a backup app installed in case this fails when I need it next.

On Galaxy note 4. It just doesn't work.

Just found this app on Google, so downloaded. All it does is give a number to ring. Got through, was told they don't cover my area, Dagenham. Told them the nearest black cabs to me are Romford, so the woman told me to hail one in the street. They're a bus ride away and I have to bring a dog. So I asked if they have the number of the local black taxis because I need picking up from home (as advertised!) but no, she said Google it, which is how I got this in the first place. Cheers for nothing. Uninstalled!

Doesn't work

Download took 3 attempts and 15 minutes .than when clicking on 3 of given option it only opens the one that gives me one telephone number to call . What's the point of this Craap. Uninstalled. SGS4

It's a useful app, but when searching for the nearest cab firm, it doesn't take the river in to account. For example, I live on the Isle of Dogs, but it suggests mostly cab firms based near the O2, Greenwich, and Woolwich. These are nearer as the crow flies, but fails to list the licensed cab firm at the end of the road. If you call a cab that's south of the river, it will take an extra 15-30 minutes to turn up, if they want to do it at all. It should list first the cab firms located in the same postcode.
