Never get it the execution horrible in the cars and deskpets don't even work I hate it so much

Car works, app sucks, adapter sucks, everything about it is. Just leave your car is mode 4 and watch it go. That's all the real entertainment you'll receive

Guys this works perfectly. If you cant get it to work, you are not going it right or maybe you are using wrong channel that's all. Great app

Carbot's controls are uncomfortable. Please just make a joystick.

out of all the apps I've tried this is the only one that works!

Technically it works but you have to recalibrate the transmitter and select the vehicle on each launch.

I'm a graphic designer and a very techie individual. I've built several computers, use Macs and PCs, and have owned smartphones since they were Pocket PCs. I'm returning both of these Carbots because I can't get this app to work properly on my Note 5. And two separate screens of instructions and troubleshooting--for a small toy--is absolutely ridiculous.

And yes!, I do know how to install an App. Setup works and the phone jack IR blinks, but the car doesn't respond. I adjusted the phone volume and disabled the equalizer as recommended, but still no luck. Tried the reset button and other frequencies (A-B-C) still nothing. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s5. Any suggestions?

There is like a two second delay when you try to control this piece of junk. Annoyig to control. Turned it off after two minutes and returning it.

Its truly a great concept. But the weak signal from the remote via headphone jack made it useless. Tried different phones as well, same results; But if a flagship phone/device cant do it. Then something is wrong. The remote standalone works great. The app I believe is good as well. But they just dont work together right.

The stupid tanks don't respond to anything. I charged them for DAYS and they sit there like zombies. Don't waste your money on these sorry excuses for toys.

I love these little b**tards! I took an infaread led and turned it on and he follows it. If I flash it on and off it confuses him. I have the "Tankbot," he's so cute she. I shut him off.

I recently bought a galaxy s4 and I want to use my desk pet but I lost its infrared dongle. Will it work with my galaxy's built in infrared transceiver?

The delay from the application was expected, these aren't high end electronics, but my battletanks would get stuck going forwards and backwards and after a few minutes the adapters would stop giving a signal to the toys. I'm returning them now.

My family was so excited to get me a carbot as a gift but this thing is junk. The only thing it will do is run by itself so what's the point? I would have rather gotten socks and underwear than this cheesy toy.

Sluggish.

This uses the AUDIO port so you are limited to low-speed communications. Make sure your volume is at max. Turn off special audio effects. GO THROUGH THE APP SETUP and make sure the correct transmitter type and 'bot' is selected. Make sure the bot is charged. Make sure the bot can see the transmitter, communications are line-of-site visual short range. Works great on my Samsung galaxy note 2 after figuring all of the above out. Also, use this 2014 version of the app, not the old one.

Get your cars from ebay. The apps works ok and so does the cars. Kinda hard to control until you get use to it. Better than I thoug h the but still can use some improvement.

Such a shame. I found a desk pet at Best Buy and thought it would be so much fun. App development seems to have stopped, so will have to just run on mode 4 and let it irritate the dog.
