Deseret News for Android
The stories I want are there. The notifications never take me to the story they are about and I can never find them. I want a notification to take me directly to the story it is about without having to search for it.
I use it for access more accurate content (non-hysterical, slanted news).
I am having all kinds of problems accessing the latest version of this app with my Androud tablet.
Easy to navigate has the news and High school sports news and scores seems to have the latest news updstes
Easy to use, nice presentation on my Galaxy Tab A.
We love Deseret News app we also get the paper Thank You
It works for me!
Great news and trivia links. Easy to browse and no bothersome notifications.
Great local and national news, often with a positive flavor.
Better than accessing your news on the personal computer!
I love the links to the Church News and Mormon Times.
I LOVE The Deseret News App!!!!
We'll organized and relevant.
Good place for the news.
I love this app.
Its a good app.
I'm happy with it.
Great news app
It's good
Great. ...
I got this app to help me find articles for my English class. It worked great, but I can no longer locate an article I had used a week previous. It is very frustrating, and it made me redo that assignment
They use too much yellow journalism. I read the news from other places and I read the exec orders signed by our president. It would make this more credible if you did the same. There is so many lies being told by the media and Deseret news should be above that. I am LDS. And it saddens me when the truth cannot be fully on display here. I am NOT a Trump supporter. I want however to give him a chance to do what will preserve this nation. You should be above the main stream news. Nobody trusts the media for a reason. When you Fix this I will rate you much higher. A single star is too generous at this point in my opinion.
Two complaints. 1. Science and Tech news is completely ignored. 2. Notifications consist of banal, overly localized pieces 99% of the time. You can't turn it off! Why???????
Can't turn them off. Also, paper has gone liberal.
I really like this app, but I don't like all of the notifications. I don't live in UT, but even if I did, I don't want headlines setting my phone off throughout the day. Tell me how to turn this off/create a way, and I will give it 5 stars.
I have read the Salt Lake Tribune for a couple years online, but felt it was very biased. Now I can read a more balanced news source. I have waited a long time for this app.
When I click on a story in Twitter the app.opens, but the story referred to in the link does not open.
I enjoy reading this paper. I don't have a lot of time, and this is quick and available when I have a moment.
I get notifications for specific stories, then when I tap that notification, it goes to the start page - NOT the story. Annoying and disappointing.
March '16: No way to turn off notifications?! Your kidding right? Uninstall. Jan '17: I tried again, still no options to adjust notifications. Unbelievable!
It's been great for us to read Deseret News while out of state the past two years. Thank you!
Easy to use. Stable. Sometimes it seems like me content isn't added very fast, but overall very good app.
I read it to keep up with my home state's news and I have yet to find a local paper it's equivalent.
Not enough notifications. I only get notified of some of the latest stories, not all. However, this is generally a really good app!
Can't seem to turn of notifications. With other news apps you can. It's enough to drive me nuts.
A bit of liberal slant and anti-Trump but it's the best we have.
Stories and news that are interesting to me as a Salt Laker.
D News keeps me informed on local sports, BYU, State news, the LDS church and more. Keep up the great work!
Great site, no trashy ads like some news sites.

Enjoy being able to read news and stories that are more factual and not written for sensationalism. Also there are many articles that are uplifting as opposed to negativity found so often in many news stories today
