SDCard Watcher for Android
+1 star for opening the source code. It's a good idea, but without a logging system and an easy way to view logged events, the app is just an annoyance with it's notifications. You should look into using fanotify on rooted devices to get all file system activity on a mountpoint. Also, a backlog of events is critical.
This app didn't worked for me.. It always show Xperia home app as culprit even though i created folder with es file explorer and file comander app
Worked well
Not bat
Worthless, I couldn't see it doing anything. Actually slowed my phone down a lot. Had to uninstall.
Since I installed this it has done absolutely nothing...a complete waste of effort...
SGS3, tested, nothing logged.
Now I when I clean up my SD card I know exactly what I'm deleting. Would be nice to be able to exclude a specific file from the toast notifications (I use an app that deletes and recreate the same file often in a folder that I otherwise want SD Watcher to monitor)
I've been looking for an app forever that will be the "tattle tale" of other apps that write to the SDcard.
