Depop - Buy, Sell and Share

I HATE your featured tab. It's always the same items shifting arouns and most of it is sold out already. Which means it's practically useless and given that it doesn't work, this means that sellers' items don't get exposure. Also, I wish the search automatically does worldwide instead of within the country.

Love the app!! Best selling app I've used. But it does have some issue, for me it's been with location. Even if I have my location on, the app doesn't want to connect to Google maps. I've tried this on several devices, but nothing seems to work. Isn't my first time having this problem :( but overall great app, highly recommend

The fees eat into shipping so people are having to sell through PayPal in order to actually make anything off their items + there are a lot of bugs with the app. However it is easy to use and people are generally friendly. Would be perfect if the fees weren't so high.

App is cool on items and prices but however there are so many scams, they should make it a little more secure for both parties like mercari. Alot of bugs and glitches, even after updating the app. Customer service was really no help at all.

As a seller, the delete x on the lower right corner of the description tab in the selling products page is very inconvenient as I keep accidentally pressing it when trying to edit a description​ and keep having to rewrite the whole thing. Otherwise the app works fine, but it's a very annoying thing that keeps getting in the way.

Just joined this app. There isn't as many people as the other sights, but I like the home page it's easy to follow and well organized. Not sure how shipping goes I haven't sold anything yet..you can't sell other stuff it's mainly clothing and vintage stuff. But it's not as expensive as poshmark..

The app is amazing! But i HATE the featured tab! Its really just a bunch of random things from weeks ago reshuffling. Why not make the featured tab an extension of similar items to the ones we like?

The fees arent bad (lower than i pay on ebay) but i dont like it. Buyers, dont pay outside of depop buy option unless you want to risk being scammed or not covered if anytging goes missing. Sellers, increase ur postage to normal prices and edit ur listings! I dont like or understand the 'like' feature, i dont care... buy or go away (prefer view counts). My items sell faster for a higher price on ebay - i'll stick to it.

Fees from depop are terrible. Sellers end up having to sell directly through paypal instead of the app due to the fees depop has in place. The app consistently removes your selling posts due to their own rules and what they consider "violations" (e.g. selling a swatched eyeshadow, lipstick, tested perfume etc). The interface of the app is great to scroll (sometimes) but in theory the selling process on this app is pretty much trash. I'll be selling things elsewhere from now on.

Worse team support there is! A real hassle to receive a refund, if you can even receive one. This app advertises used makeup, torn clothes, and over priced used clothing! Would not recommend this app.

this app is great overall, my only complaint is that I don't get any notifications at all. Even with the notification settings turned on, nothing comes up. I have to check the app ridiculously often just to make sure I'm on top of things.

It's great and I've sold a lot of stuff on here but the things I would change would be notifications because I could message someone and it would take prefer to get to them and their message to get to me. I would also add choosing a size when you refine a search to make it easier.

I love depop! It gives people the ease and opportunity to sell their items at affordable prices. Fees are a little high but a lot more outreach and likelihood of sales than Etsy or other things uve tried. User friendly!

I like the app a lot for the shopping aspect. However, it uses a ton if data in the frontground despite having WiFi access, so it's difficult to decide to keep it when it uses a months worth. Also, I had to settle a dispute in PayPal's site because the support team somehow flagged me instead of the user I needed to address. The app and support department could use a lot of work, but I love the people who sell on depop and the variety of shops available! If there were less fees I think more people would want to use it.

Depop team can be helpful with issue but really have to rely on paypal to sort out anything. Buggy and so many scammed depop does nothing about

Great app, easy to use and trustworthy. The fees could do with a bit of a reduction, and for me it is prone to bugs e.g.. atm it won't allow me to open messages Otherwise fantastic

Every time I use this app I get annoyed with it for something or other as it's such a glitchy app! As a seller it doesn't always show my edits and only gives me the 'instant buy' option rather than the 'message seller' option which I would prefer. I've changed the notification in the settings but I still no longer receive notifications for messages, likes or comments so I'm very out of touch with my own page and it's bad for business. It also only works when connected to WiFi which is just annoying! I love the idea of this app but it's so hard to use and glitchy that it's almost not worth it. The fees are too high when selling too, they should be reduced to 5% and capped at £20 otherwise it deters buyers from selling. It frequently says that certain pages I know to be active are no longer active when I when to look at them simply because the page hasn't loaded right which can really out off buyers. As a buyer, the categories are so vague as to be useless. Arranging 'bottoms' section into 'shorts' 'skirts' 'playsuit/jumpsuit' would be much more efficient when looking.

Depop flagged my obviously brand new & unused lipstick, claiming it was..used/swatched ? When I contacting customer service about it, twice, they decided to just ignore me as a result of their own mistake :) Thank you Depop!

Perfect apart from it would be really useful to be able to sort liked items into some kind of folder or category, just as it gets confusing sometimes with one massive jumbled up shopping list

Refuse to use any app that has paypal buyers have 60 days to return any thing for any reason ! Its a scammers market! Sometimes paypal even lets buyers keep the item !! No thank you selling elsewhere!

Just another poorly ran service. Will suspend for no reason. Stupid policies. Horrible fees. Horrible customer support. Do not follow their own policies..you will be banned even for following rules.

I love the idea of this app but there are so many things that could be better. I hate the fees ! Gives us no option but to sell things at a higher price than anyone will actually want to buy! I don't understand why depop is taking a fee when we can't even have a week without a bug screwing things up or a random report for nothing. Customer service sucks! Took DAYS to GET a reply back last time I spoke to them! Stop taking fees till you can have an app that runs effecient. 10% is too high!!! Just to get another fee from paypal!! I really love the concept but so many glitches and not enough useful updates.

At first glance this app seems great, but I do have a couple of issues with it, the biggest one is probably the fact that you can only have 4 photos of the item you want to sell! Moreover, all of them have to be the exact same square size and that's not great for photos that have already been taken. Absolutely rubbish if you ask me, because surely more photos means people will have a better, more realistic understanding of what they're buying? Another thing is that when I joined, it automatically followed a whole bunch of people or companies, but I have no idea what or who they are (or how to unfollow them) because there is no tab or drop-down menu option where they're all gathered together, and hence easier to manage. I also feel like there should be a) an option to 'save for later' or 'save as a draft' when putting something up to sell, b) a preview option, and c) a place where you can see all of your listings, and JUST that instead of having it in the feed.

The app is absolute trash because some random person reported me for no reason and depop just permanently suspended me with no questions from me. Absolute trash

Good app but it doesn't allow me to view my messages. Annoying error.

You need a PayPal to sell. You can't receive payments with your bank account. That's really limited.. App erased.

The make a offer system is terrable as it says you don't get support from the app if something goes wrong I only found that out after I made a transaction that was so it seems I've lost my money.

This app didn't get me enough interest for buyers to buy my items so I decided to close my store. I'll also be erasing this app. Thanks a lot Depop for wasting my time ; (

Depop is an amazing online store, I use it all the time. Totally recommend this for people looking to sell or buy high -end stuff for cheap! Five stars all around.

Simple app for fast for selling and buying clothes. The community generally offers trendy vintage clothes - good quality stuff :) It'll be easy to find stuff you like if you're into the retro, hipster thrift store look haha

Everytime I search something it goes to error and I can't even open my own profile page

I love how you can find an array of used and new items for a bunch of prices ❤ and it gives the feeling of "from my closet to yours".. the interaction with sellers and other buyers is awesome, it's really personal, in a good way.

Love this app it's so modern, easy to use and great for both selling and buying but can be slow at times

It's a GREAT APP!!! The only thing I hope they do in the future is get there own shipping labels!Then it will be PERFECT!!!

So to summarize my first experience with this app,it went kind like this,i was sitting around my house getting some dome and smoking a fat j when i decided i wanted a Supreme box logo hoodie for the upcoming winter.I realized i didnt have that kind of money and I remembered my friend telling me about this app where you can get good clothing for cheap and that was depop.I went on the app,ordered my hoodie for half the usual price,and then i ejaculated all over my girlfriends face.

I'm having issues listing items,and the app won't allow me to turn instant pay off

Really sick of going into messages and not being able to open them. Sort it out or unistalling

Notification asking me to come back and use the app that woke up my screen? No thanks.

It's a poor excuse for an app, but it has lots so of clothes on it, which I suppose is what matters.

I love the stuff on depop but the app needs to have this thing where they can show you the prices translated to your own country's currency
