Flud - Torrent Downloader

This is the best Bit torrent app in the store. It's highly customizable, has limited ads that are noninvasive, and is light on resources. Compared to similar apps it just stands out as something special. Its especially terrific when other bit torrent app have been shown to contain mal-ware, bitcoin miners, and can't be customized to your needs.

Hands down the best torrent client on Android. I used to to uTorrent but hated it because of ads and premium only features. Flud is free, small unintrusive ads (bottom), beautiful material design, lightweight, fast, easy to use, and always does the job without any issues. I'm on a Nexus 6P, Nougat 7.1.1 Dev Preview 1. (Using qBittorrent now on PC, death to uTorrent everywhere)

I used to use tTorrent but this is way better, its the best android torrent client I've used. It's fast, simple, lightweight and stable with just the right features. The only issue is i'm on android 5.1.1 and can't download to my own folder on external sd card, only the android/data folder. Other apps on here can do that fine. Could this be fixed in a future update? I still give this app 5 stars anyway...well deserved! Thanks

I used to use the official utorrent before but for some reason I don't know why it didn't let me download the files directly into my memory card after I updated my phone to marshmallow. Since I had all my free space in the memory card so I was looking for a torrent client which does and then I found this and it's just awesome . Tnxs developers , keep up the great work.

Love this app! Super simple and fast, no nonsense. However, I've recently been having trouble with some downloads losing their progress. For example, a download going from 45% to 23%, sometimes when the app is closed, sometimes while actively downloading. This mostly occurs with files over 1 GB or that have multiple parts. Smaller or single files download flawlessly. Any advice?

I like it, really. It's just that there's no file recovery or whatever you call it having the capability to check wether there are any unfinished downloaded files of the same torrent recently. That which is like what torrent clients for PC could; and by the way, utorrent for android could, also. I hope you'll add this function soon enough. It's a great convenience having this, you know. :)

I used to love this downloader as it was incredibly simple to use. However now it requires you to be hooked up to Wi-Fi in order to download instead of allowing you to just use your mobile data. Not happy with this change and I really wish it would go back to the way it was

The app was great until recently the torrents stop in the middle and shows the status as error. Then when I pause and play, it starts again but then again stops. This keeps on happening like 2-3 times until the torrent is downloaded. Also it would be so better if there was an option to update trackers.

I've used azureus/vuze since it was a public beta over 10 years ago, but the Android app is disappointing. Switched to this and it's smooth downloading again. **update** several new updates have been installed since my original review. No slowdowns, bugs etc have been introduced that I have seen

Listen, if you're even considering another client, you're out of your mind. This is an incredibly powerful mobile BitTorrent client. It allows individual prioritization of files in downloads. Fast download speeds and allows uploading. And it won't use any data. What more could one want in a mobile client?

Way too slow. I have been downloading a 5GB file for about 3 day. Now it's 94.6% done but it's not downloading any further. My wifi speed is good. I have already downloaded more than 10 GB in 2 days. But I am having problem with only 1 file. Please help me.

I've been using utorrent since it's beginnings, and the same is true of the app. But I noticed my download speeds decreasing more and more.I finally had enough of the crap speeds and all the ads. Flud is simple, elegant, and efficient. Hands down the best torrent app I've used!

Way much better than bit torrent and you torrent. But if it could have an option of direct download files. That would help to easily download files even in low seeds. And this torrent has a bug. It says torrent download 100% but doesn't show as finished. And incorrect pieces calculation. Another thing if torrent file is 3.6 GB then it says only 3 GB. You guys have to make it better.

Not sure why but even allowing only 2 concurrent downloads, the phone Freezes and even goes black. I can't even reboot! Other than that it's much better than utorrent and Esp easy for RSS feeds. Would have been perfect 5 but for the freeze

After my favorite desktop app went mad with full page video ads , I gave it up. This app is far better and less ads. Works good. Supports all features where others charge a premium for the same. Love the power management feature which is free and scheduling. Buying the ad free version to support the developer

Flud is Simple, FLUID, Fast, clear, efficient......Really THANK YOU. Flud is almost more than perfect, congratulation for the app. Now I'm searching if there is a PC version. A little problem is when the download stuck on "download metadata" what i have to do without delete the torrent and download it again??? Really Thank You again for your effort.

Why is the download slower than before? I used to have download speeds of at least 300kbps, but now it seems that it's stuck at at most 15kbps. My mobile data (lte) isn't the problem btw. Tried downloading in another torrent downloader in my pc with my lte. Everything worked fine.

The arrows that denote the upload & download direction beside the respective speeds are mismatched. I think in every view. The settings and functionality are fine in the menus, but arrows should be reversed. I dont know if this is intentional, but its probably a bug. v1.4.8.1

I love this app! It's fab for travelling as we can get movies and TV shows to watch on my phone on the go. Really simple to use & love that you can select 'sequential download' to start watching your show while it downloads! 5*. Thank you Flud.

I thought uTorrent is the one unconsciously, BUT thank god this is here. I can't describe my torture deselecting ever single file I don't want to download in uTorrent. This allowed me to deselect the folder as a whole then select what I want to download. Neat, simple and working!. Clicking ads just to help

The app is good and does its job quite seamlessly. The only problem I've come this far is that it shows a different amount of downloaded data at status and files page, however, I think this can be neglected :). Keep up the good work.

I love this app, it is one of the best torrent clients on the market. I miss the handshake with a torrent search engine however. In previous versions it was there, and it stayed in mine where i had it before, but one of my friends doesnt have it. Has it just moved, or has the feature just been removed?

Please let us edit the storage location via keyboard so that one can include folders starting with a '.' (I mean hidden folders) or make it see them because it unnecessarily populates my Gallery app with blank and irrelevant thumbnails. Everything else is awesome. Thanks!

This is best torrent downloader I've ever come across. No advertisements and no bullshits like "upgrade to pro and go add free". It gives awesome speed and right now its around 1.2 mbps

If you restart the phone it will reset the download progress and will waste a lot of time and bandwidth as a result. Had it happen two times. I set the default download location in SD card. Either way it should do a force recheck before deciding on its own to start from beginning. Interface was good though and had detailed settings for advanced users.

It's an good app for torrent dwlding getting good peers & seeds comparing to other torrent downloaders. But drawback s when the back lights gets off and the flud is running in BG it gets hang sometime. In this case v hav to reboot the phone once.

For a torrent app on a mobile device I don't want a lot of features and functions (read bloatware) just a simple easy to use interface that's functional. This ticks all those boxes.

I used to absolutely love this app. But suddenly since the last 1 week the downlod speed is merely 15 kbps even when network speed is 1 Mbps and other apps are getting downloaded/updated super fastly. I fixed the upload seed to 1 kbps. But still it is not getting fast.

That was me last week. And now, this is so awesome!! (It does have ads, but non intrusive and simple ones which appeals itself to be opened. I hate those fullscreen video playing ads) in all.. Thumbs up

I had been using uTorrent for three years because i couldn't find a torrent downloader that was better, well....the search is over. I so love this easy to use torrent app because it's ad free, faster, and the interface is quite lovely. This is easily the best torrent download app....period.

Great app. Nice design, unobtrusive ads, text isn't obscured in landscape mode, takes up less memory, easy to update files to torrent if you're not downloading all files. One feature I'd like is to sort torrents by name, download speed, ratio, etc. EDIT: lately it's buggy, I've lost GBs of downloaded files twice now, it has Error on the torrent instead of Seeding. Please fix this.

No other torrent app is working but this one is really doing great...thanks for the app.. but 1 thing i dont understand is why downloading gets stopped when i open a new app or just lock the device or any other activity by which flud will be minimised..please help me to config. properly. Otherwise this app is the best one for torrent..

This app, as many before me already said, is the best torrent app on the play store. I have even translated some things, as mentioned in the description, to help the developer(s) a bit. I'm also going to buy the ad-free version to help them to develop this already magnificent app even further.

It does not seem to work on most of the torrents I use (Ex: those from t411) whether I open them directly with the app or download and executes the .torrent file (it says "Invalid"). Still better than any other app on the market - would love to give it 5 stars

One problem, sometimes torrents start on their own even though I paused them, and also saved settings for a certain torrent gets reset , let's say I only want a certain file from a torrent and I apply that setting, I come back the next day or a few hours later and find out its been reset

I paid for utorrent and it constantly would freeze or not even begin the downloads. Since trying Flud I'm back on top off things. Easy to use, even if you're using it for the first time. No intrusive ads. Love it!

I switched that app cause bored with that ads on one popular torrent app. This one has better interface, it is lightweight, there is even pause and shutdown button in the notification bar. I sometimes click that little ad in the corner to support the developers

Better than utorrent which doesnt work with a lot of different torrents most of the time and has text formatting issues on smaller screens. This app seems to run all torrents utorrent wouldnt and has completed filenames, and easier to use gui.

I recommend this app for downloading torrent. Before this, I used uTorrent and Bittorrent, but both of them have VERY annoying ads pop up frequently (sometimes they open game ads that MOST annoying), which make me uninstall them after a few use. While this app also has ads, it isn't nearly annoying as those two apps, so this app is far way better.

When i torrent, i could actually download the torrent straight into my SD card, now I can't. This is really frustrating because my phone itself doesn't have enough memory for the things I want to torrent. And I used to be able to do that but now I can't. Please fix it!
