About VRec Lite - Voice Recorder
VRec Light is a free digital sound recorder, which allows you to record any sound that is in close proximity of your smartphone. All record files will be stored at on phone's SD card as a default storage.
After the installation if no specific audio format has been chosen, the application will use 3gp format by default .
Lite version supports all features as PRO version beside unlimited record time. Lite version allows you only 2 minutes of recording time for each single recording. If you need more, please consider to purchase a PRO version.

The sound players and editors I have recognize the file formats, but apparently this app is using a codec that I don't have. Where do I get codecs to play/edit the recorded files?

The recording length is very short and if your phone goes to battery save mode the app stops recording. Not helpful at all.
