Not worth my time or energy even though I got this app for free through App Of The Day, it defeats it own purpose of being a "Local Cloud" when app is unable to stream and/or download files from PC-Server (Windows 10) to Android-device. Pros: N/A Cons: - Forces username/password instead of giving choice for it. - Cannot stream MP4 or MKV. - It gives error message about "Unable to connect to server" after unchecking Stream-option in Android Settings. - Nothing happens when clicking on file to download to Android-device. - Server on PC with Windows 10 cannot share more than one folder. - Crashes on start after reboot of Android-device.

So far, pretty good.

This is a good idea but this doesn't recognize media files like mkv. Also streaming media files would be a good feature rather than trying to open them which seems to take a lot of time!!

Can't open more than 5 items per folder. If you want a good local cloud solution, go get SSHelper by Paul Lutus. He's an enlightened programmer that uses FLOSS, and doesn't cripple his apps.

Great app! I have complete access to all the files on my computer. Took a few minutes to figure out where to get the ip address from hence only 4 instead of 5 stars. Need some sort of pop up on the phone to walk you through setting up the server on your computer and get the ip address.

This is the worst app that i ever download. It's made all my pictures gone and keep download images to your phone. Never download it and BEWARE

Can't understand how to open app and no info provided

Why does this install the application in the most hidden parts of my computer (where other cloud apps DO NOT) and then get flagged by 3 different antivirus programs set on low security (when no other cloud apps have)??

AeroFS is basically the same thing, is free and is easier to use. I have downloaded this and will continue to evaluate both. I will come back and add to this later.

Update: Never could figure out how to make it run. Did PC download but phone never would show where to insert the promo code. Red flags went up in the security area so I just deleted it all. UPDATE... In all fairness, some of the users have figured it out so I go from 1 to 3 stars. I guess I am too stupid to figure it out. Sounds cool but if I can't get it, it can't get it. Good luck.

I thought I could just back up things I didn't want to loose. I don't have a laptop or another device. I do everything of my smart phone as it's always with me. Is there another way to use without another device.

Must be iPhone users leaving bad comments. Don't leave bad reviews just because you may not know how to set it up. Ask for help and/or read faq.

Why publish an app with instructions which most of us are iliterate about? The instructions are vague and support page leaves you wanting. And what about appgratis don't they test these apps before announcing them for free? Sure they're "gratis" but my wasted time is not! . Bad market strategy from delite studios if they expect to lure us into their restof their products. Uninstalling on both pc and tablet. 2 hours of my life wasted. Update! Where do i suppose to see your reply? Google says you did!

Found this app through AppGratis. Works fine on my Samsung Galaxy Note II and my Galaxy Tab 3, running the server on my Windows 7 laptop. Setup on the Android side was not fully intuitive, and no instructions are provided. You can not access the settings until _after_ you log into your local server. The server side is more intuitive, and allows for auto-restarting the server application on computer startup. You can also select any directory to share to your LocalCloud, which you can secure with credentials.

Maybe I'm not computer literate enough for this program. What is "Host?" What do I put in that box? And which password and user name do use. The phone's or the computer I want to transfer files from? Can't get past the first page without this info. ................................ Just got an email saying that the developer replied to my above questions. Where do I find that reply? I'm just getting more confused.

I workbin the information technology sector and this app is fantastic and straight forward. I have a server set up for work and for home. Straight forward and no connection problems. Excellent Job!

The android app says "Problem with connection" and the Windows app is removed by AVG saying it's a virus. Uninstalling!

Easy to use and great GUI but I'm only able to play 1 MP3 or JPEG at the time from within the app. No settings to sync with the local cloud.

Haven't used it extensively, but it's very useful to have. I think I may have an even better use for it...
