SkipTheDishes - Courier App

The logistics of it is very inefficient. They often send drivers out on a wild goose chase to do deliveries. I sometimes had to drive over 5 miles-which they don't pay for- to get to one restaurant just to pick up one order a drive a few miles to deliver an order and get paid under $5.00. When I worked for a pizzeria I would often get the same amount for driving a mile or less to deliver an order. Also, the courier app needs some improvement. It is only capable of send you out on one delivery at time. When two deliveries were ready at around the same time at one restaurant, they would dispatch two drivers two deliver each order which were most likely going out to the same area. Another example of its inefficiency is that I was once sent out to do a delivery for a restaurant. I was sent out to do a delivery for a participating restaurant. They sent me out to do a delivery to a call center/office building two miles away. Immediately after completing the delivery, My app indicated that I had to return to the same restaurant once again to return to the exact same place for another delivery instead of having take two at one time. In addition, they don't pay

Still a bit glitchy, requiring multiple restarts during shifts, otherwise pickups are missed.

App no longer self updates when a job is waiting to appear

After new update, app ignores system font size. I turn up my system font size because I have my phone mounted on the dash and the small font in the app is too hard to read. Please make the app support larger fonts. --- Please also add support for black background and white text at night to ease eye strain when driving at night.

I need to refresh the screen to see if I have a job. Sometimes it freezes with just the logo on the screen so you have to stop by the side of the road to restart the phone.

The customer service is horrible. They don't pay you on time regarding debit transactions. Then they auto sign you for shifts even if they haven't paid you lol like how are you suppose to work with no float money lmao

Okay app but buggy. They're getting the kinks worked out.

Nice to be able to set availability on here now instead of the shift planning site that you could only access by an actual computer. The job list updated whistling all the time and nothins there is brutal. The automated computer system sending jobs then the dispatchers taking them away is garbage!! Job pay should be a tad hire for alot of jobs considering the places we drive to for the food and the amount tipped by cheap customers considering skip takes their 15% off the restaurants as well for fees.

Now my phone is constantly whisling at me for no reason. Saying job list has been updated but nothing is there. Please fix. Very anoying. Also draining battery very quick and always wrong loaction

Had to reinstall the app a few times because it just froze once opened... Only showing the skipthedishes sign and not moving

1) Drain a lot of battery. 2) orders always not showing up. 3)Wrong location all the time.

Easy to follow instructions and earn good money

I like this update. Having scheduling in one place is a nice feature. Would like to see more information about the order, many restaurants would rather confirm with the food rather than number (varies) would also like to see earnings at end of shift. Maybe more tools to calculate earnings over week/month. The bubble was nice but not a necessity I find. Night mode would be great. My main gripe is not being able to see the next restaurant on a delivery. Often times this helps me plan my travel better.

New update is ok....2 things though...1- the annoying sound notification needs to go...2- no notification a new order is ready....have to go into the app and check....on downtime i like to play on my phone....but have to keep checking because it doesnt notify anymore...

Guys it's really awesome that I can edit my availability in the app! Do I even need the humanity app at this point?

I really enjoyed the shift trading aspect of scheduling before update please bring this back.

The new update is ridiculous!! It doesn't let me start a shift even a minute earlier, when I'm available to work! Please downgrade it to the previous version which made a lot more sense! Also, it has become very intrusive now! Plus, it doesn't let me extend my shift if I want to!! And bubble thing is gone as well!!

I've updated operations of my issues, but it helps saying my job list had updated, but when I go there, there's nothing. I've lost several jobs today because of this.

The update we've been waiting for. Would still be nice to see what the customer ordered just in case.

New update has some features but need improvement. You can not log out before your shift ends even after talking to dispatch can't find out the way to log out.. app pop up (bubble)main screen is not available as it was with precarious version. Hope they will improve soon

I absolutely love the update the skip team did! Everything involving the schedule on one app is a lot more useful

Please add the ability to text OR call customers. Also when we are waiting for an order that's already been assigned to us, but isn't on our radar yet, I'd like an ETA until it is. Other than that and a glitch where sometimes the orders don't go through to drivers (maybe it's fixed?) This app is pretty good for what it does.

It's okay.Uninspired, thoughtless towards drivers. Enable custom Nav apps (iOs has this) sounds, black color scheme, ability to disable the bubble or tweak it (full screen nag forever? Serious?) Streamline and simplify. Put entire order detail together onto the current job tab so you are no longer required to click through for businesses that do not use our order number system on site. Fix chat notifications not clearing when the app chat is viewed. Change status confirm to a 'drag to yes' on far side.

30-40% downtime, average 1 order per hour. 30-40% people don't tip. Unbelievable and unstable delivery fee(3.99 for 7km trip, 7 for 10km and end up no where, so extra 10km to get back) can hardly make minimum wage without considering gas and mileage. Disappointing management. They want you to sign up for regular shift($0-5 bonus) while offering those who don't sign up a much higher shift bonus (10-15). Some dispatcher can be very rude.

Really wish they would show what the order is im picking up. I have had numerous orders that the restraunt didnt include something and i have noway of knowing what im picking up!!!

Love being able to see when unaccepted jobs have been assigned, but I wish you would show the details for our upcoming jobs, instead of hiding them.

After the last update app now crashes every single time I get a job, is so bad can't even use the app at all now.

My job as a delivery driver requires speed and minimum distraction. The new version almost doubles the amount of user interaction required to do the same things I could do in the old app. I'm talking, specifically, about the additional "idiot proofing" check boxes. There also needs to be an option to disable the bubble because it offers no value to me and I find it gets in the way. Finally, please bring back the time estimates on orders further ahead than just the current order.
