Budget Buddy

This is a great app. Would give it 5stars if the app was about to differentiate between the expense and income, so that I don't need to worry about changing my income everytime there's one

Just started using app and it is pretty good. I don't mind purchasing additional budget categories as pricing is acceptable. Only problem is the app only draws (or sees) certain transactional sms's from my bank. My bank uses a different sms numbers for different types of activities witin my accounts. I would love to see, for example, EFT's coming in and or out. The info on my banks sms regarding how much is left in my accounts is also handy and could be used within the app.

I would rate it a 5 star if there was an export to Excel or csv. Other than that it is great. Thanks

I like the functionality but it's not automatically picking up my bank SMSs. Also it would be great to be able to rename the "Other" category.

Really like it, very helpful, would like if it can scan notifications and not just the message inbox... Ie banking app notifications as amounts smaller than R101 do not show up I'm sure with the great work it will pop up soon, but just putting it out there Great work thank you

Great way to keep track of cashflow.

Awesome and simple app, but i have an issue, i get weekly account balances and it sees it as an expense. how can i set it up to ignore these? Would be nice to choose to include or ignore custom sms search terms?

Hi. Thank you for the app and the time you have invested. I think another suggestion could be to perhaps you have an optional user registration platform where a user can have more than one device, and also where two users can for instance in some categories have a combined budget and other categories an individual budget, for instance an husband and wife both working (or perhaps only one partner workin with a combined account to pay the basics, but each user may also have there own portion of the budget that they feel they would like to do and plan their own things with - that portion of the combined income that is allocated to each user and they may do with that portion what they like. It's almost a main structure sub structure idea. Anyway, hope it helps. Thank you for your app. Best regards.

Thank you Denver, for a job well done! I can see all the additional categories that I had purchased. Can I suggest that you get the app to generate a shorter sequencial reference code (say max 10 charecters) because the EFT payment ref space is limited. This will ensure that future clients don't prematurely blame your app for not working, like I did - apologies. Overall great app!! I am certainly going to get my family and friends to install. Thank you once more!!!

While individual budgets amounts are showing the budget total for Jan 2017 does not show, nor the expenditure total. The bar chart for Jan 2017 is not yet showing. Regards Peter What about showing individual categories in the Bar Chart as well as the Pie Chart? Could warn us that more categories come at a cost but particularly impressed that after cleaning out my phone my extra budget categories came back. Thank you Denver.

Can not add autolink words manually, to category. When item in "other" category is edited by editing the text, and autolink to category, is selected, then the word(s) is added. When refreshing the transactions, the new autolink transactions is not categorised. This makes it very tedious to use.

What's the purpose of this app? It cannot differentiate expenses and income. All you get is transaction updates, you don't see money spent and available balance. I will settle for my bank notifications, thank you very much.
