The German accident and disaster victims eV was founded by the first chairman Jens Maspfuhl into being in 2005.
After his serious accident at 17.11. 2003 in Thailand Jens Maspfuhl is a paraplegic from the chest down and sitting in a wheelchair ever since. (Quadriplegic)
He soon realized that integration or inclusion are not self-evident.
Through his passion for golf and a strong will, he managed to return back into his life. 2004 Jens returned Maspfuhl for holidays to the land of his accident back:. Thailand. He learned the country and its people love and traveled 2 days before the 2004 tsunami back to Germany.
In 2005 he supported the relief efforts for the tsunami in Thailand and founded with his family the German accident and disaster victims eV with the aim to represent people with disabilities in our society, to promote inclusion to support disability sport and disabled people in Thailand to help.
