Quickly Notification Shortcuts

Quickly is a simple app that creates an ongoing notification in your notification drawer filled with up to 12 to an application launcher, direct dial to a contact, direct messaging to a contact, direct call to a contact, a shortcut to a URL, a floating widget, or applications that you can configure.
Once the notification is created, expand the notification to see the shortcuts.
The nice thing about Quickly is that it never runs in the background, and the only system resource it uses is about 800kb for it's notification. It's lightweight and efficient and will remain that way.
NOTE:

If you're using a Android 4.1 you will have to use a pinch-to-expand gesture to show the shortcuts when the notification is collapsed.

I love this app, but it will randomly stop being there. It's still installed, but no longer shows up on my drop down menu. This has happened twice and I had to uninstall and reinstall.

Good really usefull. Simple. But request: can u put setting to make smaller icon on notification and maybe adjust the gap. i.e.1 bar for 6 app so not eat to much space on smaller screen. And can we drag drop the app position than just reload again from start. Thats it good job :)

I like to tinker and I use several 'notification' apps that allow me to access other apps and specific settings on the fly. This is one of the best - but I would like to see some additions, such as ability to move items within the grid; and to delete / replace items.

If the developer can give an option for 4 - 5 rows plus the ability to move the icons around within the row and across rows this will be awesome. Smaller icons can occupy less space.

Adds quick shortcut to apps and widget on notification area. One thing though...it seems to always reset the icons I've changed to default if i reset the phone.maybe you could fix this?

I really like that you can add bookmarks from any browser including Lastpass. Combined with Notification Toggles and shortcuts in the notifications tray feature of Droidkang I have easy access to all my most used apps. Nicely done!

Clears up my home screen and makes my frequently used apps easier to launch even when I'm in other apps. The addition of shortcuts to Android Activities would be welcome +/- a no media file for the icons folder.

It works with the exception of custom icons, they do not work at all. I get an error that says "Quickly was unable to load an icon from cache". The icons I used were 78x78px png files with a transparent background. I also tried jpg

Can't edit any of the floating widgets. Eg - I use Tasker to toggle my screen lock. It give me the option to use a Tasker task, but no way to choose which one. Bummer. Tell me I'm wrong?

Great app, perfect for "quickly" opening your favourite apps (do you see what I did there) would love to be able to scale the icons up though as they look a bit small
