Much Better when you could search by category, please bring that back!!

S70%
by S####:

App has been hacked with a virus it says you have two minutes otherwise you'll be infected with a virus if you don't click

S70%
by S####:

Constant crashes, was a 4/5 app before hand.

S70%
by S####:

Good, clean, simple app that just works. Honestly prefer the app to the webpage, tends to be more simple even when browsing random catagories.

S70%
by S####:

No categories?!?!? What kind of stupidity is this?!?!?

D70%
by D####:

It's one of first app I start my day with.

S70%
by S####:

Great app even though sometimes they're a bit late to a deal

K70%
by K####:

Like other users have said the change to categories is a step backwards in user feiendliness. While there is a category view under search, it wasnt intuitive for a user to know that. Initially I gave a one star review because I thought sub categories were gone. Instead they can be found if you select see all under categories. For some reason the computer and TV category listed under search do not have the sub categories available. This lead me to believe all sub categories were removed. It took me a while to realise that 1) categories are under search and 2) sub categories are buried under see all categories. This is not intuitive and the average user is going to find this update frustrating.

F70%
by F####:

Want to give 5 stars but lately the deals have not been as frequent and appear to be inaccurate sometimes. Great app, just not as great as it used to be.

P70%
by P####:

The new update took away the "Browse by Category". That basically ruined the app. Who wants to sift through shampoo and spark plug deals when searching for electronics?!? This went from an everyday app to uninstalled.

A70%
by A####:

Some text overlap so hard to read. Does not seem to refresh on its own...

S70%
by S####:

Used to be 5, they took out the categories. OK found the categories, cool app. Thanks for the feedback.

S70%
by S####:

Why did you take away the easy category views?

This app is the best.

S70%

In the past two years I've tried several shopping apps. This app is consistently good on a variety of stores, sales, big ticket items and lists things earlier than its competition.

E70%
by E####:

Wow a crap-ware link can't even open because link is shorten by a 3rd party to make them money and can't even be open on mobile ... These type of links and app should be hammered to death... can't even be used links scraped out when click to open trying to steal info and make money by links how lame why not a direct link that actually work and not click bait to a error page on mobile ahh such BS crap-ware of a app how does crap-ware get such high ratings can't even click on items to see info

S70%
by S####:

I use this all year - It really is black Friday deals all year round. I especially like the notifications when google play offers free music deals.

G70%
by G####:

Good app overall, however would be nice if I could share deals in WhatsApp ecc.

S70%
by S####:

Doesn't recognize other messaging apps like Evolve, Verizon messaging, Contacts+ etc even when these are set to default in Android app settings . Only shares with stock android messaging app

Z70%
by Z####:

How can I configure and receive customized deal alerts like ios app. No images in the listing pages.

S70%
by S####:

They put advertisments into the app. How many times do I need to see... Get AARP app?

S70%
by S####:

Easy to use, easy to find the actual deal with their links.

S70%
by S####:

Easy to use, keeps me busy while I'm waiting.

S70%
by S####:

Thank you for having integrity and pride in what you do. It shows.✌

E70%

Makes it easy for the buyer

S70%

I know you need the referral URL's in the deal links, but the lack of sharing apps, especially narrow out of the box Android apps, is killing me. PLEASE add Hangouts to the sharing apps. The referral URL should easily stay intact. Also, the copy to clipboard option would work well.

S70%
by S####:

Good deals, but two minor complaints: 1) Stop posting deals for items that ship out of China (or anywhere else where it takes over a month to receive goods), and 2) For the love of God, remove that stupid "best app ever" crap in the auto-generated email when sharing deals. It wreaks of unprofessionalism and, frankly, immaturity (and it's annoying to have to delete every time, but I refuse to keep it).

S70%
by S####:

Ruins the app. And too many deals are bundled together so you miss great individual ones. Had to go back to using slickdeals. This update killed the point of deal apps. Also the app doesn't auto update when going back into the app hours later. Pointless. ALL THE ISSUES I'VE POINTED OUT HAVE BEEN MENTIONED BY NUMEROUS OTHER CUSTOMERS AND HAVE NOT BE ADDRESSED IN ANY WAY! Stuck with Slickdeals, at least they'd comment on a review and try to help you out.

U70%
by U####:

Guys, maybe use a timestamp for sorting the deals by newest? It's silly to see 1 hour ago, then 12 hours ago, then 1 hour 24 minutes ago, then 14 hours ago. Come on man, read some basic programming tutorials or something.

S70%
by S####:

Doesn't update/refresh the deals. I'm still looking at the newest deal. It was posted 22 hours ago... No refresh option in the app so I am SOL if I wanted to actually SEE something I wanted to buy. I love DealNews but the app...is absolutely useless. Unless you want to see the deals you missed out on. Yeah, I love that feeling I get when I miss out on an opportunity.

S70%
by S####:

The app itself is great, organized deals site, but the experience is decimated by horrid in-app browser, dealnews listen to your audience, this 'feature' is horrible and you cripple your mobile app with this piece of sh#$

S70%
by S####:

I've used both for years. I noticed lots more adds recently. It makes a less effective service.

M70%
by M####:

For all of you experiencing the app crash on open, I fixed mine by forcing the app to stop, clearing the cache and all of the app data. Would be nice if the developer read the tons of reviews complaining about this crash issue and addressed it.
