어른이 된 우리가 영어를 학습한 방법은 크게 두 가지였습니다.

1. 시험을 위해 설계된 교재
시험에 나오는 중요한 내용만을 선별하여 밀도 있고 빠르게 학습할 수 있지만 내용이 지루해서 꾸준히 보기 힘듭니다. 또한 교재의 내용이 생생하지 않고, 사실 우리와 상관도 없는 내용들이 대부분 입니다. 자연히 지루하고 재미있지 않아서 반복할 수 없습니다.

2. 영화, 미드로 영어 공부하기
드라마를 통해 공부하기 때문에 자연히 재미있고 공부할 의욕이 생깁니다.
하지만 무엇을 어떻게 공부해야할지, 어느 부분이 중요한 부분인지 알기가 힘듭니다.
한 시간짜리 드라마를 갖고 어떻게 얼만큼 공부해야 하는지도 모호하고 계획성 있는 관리가 힘듭니다.


유스터디는 다릅니다.
유스터디는 유튜브 영상을 이용하여 개인의 자연스러운 영어습득을 도와주는 방식을 취합니다.
방대하고 다양한 유튜브 컨텐츠 중 생활에 관련이 깊고 영어권 문화의 다양한 면을 접할 수 있는 우수 유튜브 컨텐츠 영상을 자막과 기초 학습정보와 함께 제공합니다.

내 취미에 맞는 장르를 선택하고 스마트폰이나 태블릿pc에서 언제 어디서나 자연스럽게 영어를 습득할 수 있습니다.
또한 해당 영상에 나오는 단어, 표현, 지식에 대한 해설이 있어, 맥락 속에서 표현을 인식할 수 있고, 그래서 기억에 더욱 오래 남게 합니다.
영상을 보면서 모르는 단어, 표현, 문장은 유스터디 NOTE기능에 저장합니다.
외우고 싶은 단어, 표현, 문장을 날짜별 노트에 기록하여 자연스럽게 반복할 수 있습니다.
