Divya Desams refer to the 108 Vishnu temples that are mentioned in the works of the Tamil Azhwars (saints). Divya means "premium" and Desam indicates "place" (temple).108 Divya Desams is a divine Temple portal which gives you the complete information on Sriman Narayanan's 108 Divya desams.This Hindu Temples application also provides lots of information about the South Indian Temples, North Indian Temples (Shrines),etc.Among 108 Divyadesams, 105 are in India, 1 in Nepal. The remaining 2 in the celestial world known as Thirupparkadal and Thirupparamapatham.The Divya Desams are revered by the 12 Azhwars in the Divya Prabandha. Azhwars are considered the twelve supreme devotees of Vishnu, who were instrumental in popularizing Vaishnavism during the 5th-8th centuries A.D. The religious works of these saints in Tamil, songs of love and devotion, are compiled as Nalayira Divya Prabandham containing 4000 verses and the 108 temples revered in their songs are classified as Divya desam.

It will be more useful if it is in Tamil and Map is provided if there is more than one Divya desam is situated in a particular town-eg., Kanchipuram, Kumbakonam, etc and in other areas the location should be specific to enable easy identification. Temple Grouping inconsistent and needs to be re-visited. Shrines grouped under a base-town shouldn't be more than 40 -50 kms from the base -town. Thiruvaheendrapuram (70 kms from Sirkazhi) and Thirukoilur (approx 120 kms from Sirkazhi) are grouped under Sirkazhi temples. They are very close to Cuddalore & Tirukoilur respectively. Thus locating these temples in the app becomes difficult. On the other hand, Chidambaram (20 kms from Sirkazhi) can be grouped under Sirkazhi temples instead of a separate listing.

Very thoughtfully developed. It would be very nice if you can also add the paasurams sung by each of the Alwars. It could be in audio or pdf. I know it might make the app a little heavy but would be very useful. All the best to the team for future projects.

Best for route navigation. Great job!.But kerala chengannur divyadesam thirukaditanam route has to be corrected. It is showing wrong route. Otherwise wonderful app! loved it.!
