Fails to load completely on android!

This app would be a great asset if the bug gets fixed for Android

Quit making everything about Facebook. Useless app. Sluggish. It takes me 3 times longer to do anything in this app than I can do in a simple note taking app.

Downloaded it on my android and wouldn't allow me access. Kept saying my email and phone weren't "on file." Thankfully, I went into it via my gmail link accessed on my kindle, to set up my profile with "Best Friends" volunteer organization. Going to try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if maybe will work. If no, uninstalling permanently.

Update 9/8//2014: Thanks for getting a version out for android tablet. The app has been much improved. I can get to Volunteer Connection now. Also lets volunteers enter hours. Also can email groups and has all contacts for my region. Raising the rating up to 4 stars. The changes have improved this app. Pros: You can find people by some of the groups available in Volunteer Connection. It also lets you call, text or email individuals. Negatives: You can't email groups from the app. I would like to be able to search for other access or position groups. There is no search function, even for contacts, you just have to scroll down the list, which might be 6,000+ people in the Georgia Region. Where does the calendar come from? No help function in the app. I have administrative rights in Volunteer Connection and would like see more functions since we may be in disaster where we are depending on tablets and smart phones to do some of our work. Also, I don't know how many users you have but it has not been advertised within the Red Cross. I would have given it no stars before the updates but went with 2 stars since obviously it is still developing.

Doesn't sync data correctly (to include calendar function and profile as well as contacts ) improve these and u will be at a 5star

Update: 01/11/14 Tech support very responsive. However, app still not 100% functional. App only provides contact information for my organization. It does NOT provide real time calender information which was the main purpose for downloading the app. It constantly states it's refreshing data, but no calendar dates ever display. Please fix. No point in keeping app if I still have to go to internet to check schedules.

The app does not work properly for it's intended purpose. Remove calendar function if it can't be used.

Installed yesterday and it appears the data does NOT update upon command or otherwise. I've also tried the Reload Data option under Advanced. A contact database is not much good if it is not up to date.

I have one "spot" appearing, for my RC chapter, however, no events appear in the calendar: not upcoming trainings, meetings, or my specific shifts. This app is currently just a contact list, and nothing more, until it can show events I want to see.

I wish that this was a full blown Volunteer Connection app, but instead it is just a list of names and numbers... Still heplful though.

This seems a very good application for having organization contact list with every email, and phone number. Favorite list helps to quickly organize my lists. Also list of social media profiles helps to find people on linkedin and skype numbers. Also Group functionality is very important to have contacts to people from different departments/group.

I've got all the red cross chapters and names but how do u use calendar our chapter has things going on

I don't know if the file for the American Red Cross is too large, but if I scroll to add fellow volunteers to my favorites, it freezes AND will not update properly.

This program does not work on my Android RAZR. Tried everything. Red Cross could find something better.

This application is totally useless. It's a shame. Red Cross can fix something better than this.
