DBS digibank SG for Android
Not a good experience....paylaah app gives me fingerprint login but this App doesn't..my device is mi redmi note 4x
App works but is slow in general. App would load for approximately 5 seconds for each tap/action. It is faster to do things via browser
Issue with back button and slow performance in android. Even it is prompting for user is and password every time which is irritating. Why can't it store the user is and just ask for pin/password like several other mobile banking app. In the earlier version it was just prompting for fingerprint verification or pin.
One time setup requires reinstalling or clearing the data/cache, but was never mentioned. Wasted a lot of. Time getting this to work.
Each time I fill in my details to get started, I am always faced with a "services currently unavailable. Please try again later." I don't understand what is the problem here.
Nov 2017 update: Improved a lot in an year. Still long way to go. -Slow and sluggish on android. -Issues with back button persists. -UI elements are confusing sometimes.
Very disappointed with this app. And DBS is suppose to be a top bank. If they cant even get an app to work properly how to trust them with my money ? Keep crashing when using. This had happened for so long and so often now. Despite all the feedback and all the negative reviews, nothing was fixes. In fact some functions that used to work for me now also crashed. From bad to worse. First time giving a 1 star review. Very very disappointed. If this goes on, i gonna transfer to other bank that can get an simple app to work.
An excellent app as expected. It's got all the features I need. There is a bit of a lag when going from one screen to another but is not a big deal as long as my transactions are secure. Still it deserves a 5*.

Buggy, inconsistent and ugly UI, no "remember me" feature, no fingerprint authentication, full of Holo elements, just bad.
The app is very slow and also the currency converter does not cover all the currencies.
I think this new app was done by a 12yr old kid. Too much problems idk where to begin

1. Developers pretending to be blind to feedback about this cr-app? 2. Forced to activate the digital token which cannot even be used for simple stuff like adding a payee, which they claim is "high risk". Can't use the app at all if I don't. What a load of b***s***. 3. Too much promotion ads which slows down the time before we are able to even slide to see our balance, because the app insists on finishing loading that junk before it would respond to any input.
Rubbish! The app is too slow. It loads too many unnecessary promotions / ads. I cannot swipe right to open menu, must click on the menu icon!
Otp is broken! Used to auto authenticate now i have to manually enter!
Rubbish. Cannot do anything without asking to do the app security token upgrade but it always fails, rendering the app all but useless.
The app lags very badly. Unable to login or carry out a transaction efficiently. Please fix it. Thank you.
OTP did not send to me, peek balance not available after update on my samsung note 8 and also transaction msg not send to me after i make payment...
There are apparent errors and font format crashes. It's hard to believe that this is a app for an international financial group. It looks totally messing up. I still want to vomit after I uninstall the app. I doubt the security of my account, because it even cannot manage to clear up its UI. How can I trust that my account will not be hacked through this rubbish app?
This app keeps hanging at the login page. It wasnt like this last month. I've deleted it cos I can't use it. For an international banking institution, I expected more since you're handling my money!
Having worked on and designed three banking apps in Australia, I am confident in saying that this app is by far the poorest excuse for a mobile banking app from one of Singapore's largest financial institutions. The UX is horrible and clunky, the performance is frustratingly slow and the fact that you're using a hybrid app rather than a native app is embarassing. Hybrid apps are great for saving money and effort as you only have to manage one code base, but OMG does this cause the experience to suffer. Basic self service features are completely absent, the list goes on. I would consider working for you free just so you can get your app up to international standards and I can actually use your app.
Slow and clunky. The mandatory dialog asking for an experience rating at the end of the session is also an EXTREMELY pesky feature. Please replace your entire UI/UX team.
My goodness.My iPhone got drowned so got a android temporarily. Was delighted to see how far android devices have come along and how seamless app experiences have become till I downloaded this app. IT'S LAGGY LIKE I AM ON DIAL UP. The user experience is really terrible, especially after having used the iOS version and being delighted by it. I think they focused on the IOS app too much and the android app got a step brother treatment. Terrible app for the biggest install base they will have. Let down on what is otherwise a super experience across desktop, mobile app and iOS.
Recently just switch over to andriod. The experience was terrible. Laggy and slow. I tried others banking applications all working fine except this. Please fix it.
I liked when you have introduced the single fingerprint login, but since the last few updates it made a step back and started to ask for the token again. Even when I am transferring between my accounts and also when I want to do scan pay. Makes it very much useless :( Any chance that you can fix soon? Would appreciate it.
Can you make this app's responsiveness similar to DBS Paylah app? Their difference is night and day. Make this app fast or maybe adhere to Google's Material Design. It's kinda frustrating when you're in a hurry and you wish you just to do the transaction through browser.
The apps loading toooooo slow. I was trying to check my account balance, i had to wait almost 5 to 6 mins to see. I had tried other banking apps like NZ country and was very convenient for me to check balance, transfer and share my acc num. Will not give a good rating at the moment unless there is a significant improvement on this. P.S. i could read all dbs news if i need, not each time i open apps, like i go to IB. Apps are meant to be convenient on hand, not like IB where full of promotions!
Currently, as it stands, the DBS iBanking App has improved much over the past updates. Recent updates have brought about more functionality & features to improve the overall quality of the DBS banking experience, which I am very pleased with. However, some simple yet key features are still unavailable, one of these being the inability to view account balance alongside each individual transaction.This is a feature that I believe will help improve the banking experience & allow users to better manage expenses
Crap app. Everything I try to login it says no Internet connection when there IS Internet connection as all my other apps were running ingredients smoothly in the background. Uninstalled this n got the POSB app instead.
