MediaHouse UPnP / DLNA Browser for Android
So bad. From being request money and don't play this cheesy game and write future that don't exist with out money. Your program don't work for free as mentioned before i download. Cheaters
A very nice app that has become somewhat hard to use after the latest update. Does some fancy movie listing that is very buggy, doesn't accurately list the contents of a directory and I can't disable in favor of a normal listing. Please keep it as it was before...? I never designated any folders as "Movie Source" and it's not obvious to me how to remove it. I tried poster/details view but they all had the same problems.
Works very good as a control point for serving media from a NAS to a renderer. Having trouble getting continuous play. Stops after each track.
App works great for streaming videos and music from my Qnap NAS. But photos do not work. Is it because it's a free version? What is the difference between free and pro?
too slow and not even volume level you will find when you look for it. This is not really usable
It works fine starting video from DLNA server to renderer, but I'm not finding the controller UI. Not even a pause button. DOH! Found it. :-). Nice functionality, and it feels plenty solid.
"Play from" list is empty, and I can't add any device like same mobile to it!
Nice to see that lately the author has released some new updates and patched some bugs. It would be nice if this app added the ability to browse local phone media. Thanks for the updates.
Seems to work ok with universal media server running on mint 18.2. Please add interactive zoom pan on images. There are options re resolution but output is fixed
Useless. Plays nothing, will not browse even the device it is installed on.
Could not get local file support to play to another device
Can't download photos from dlna server in original size. This app always compress photos without asking user preferences Update: I use Windows 10 built in dlna server
Can't find my NAS server on my network and I can't browse or type the IP of my server. I'm using LaCie 5big Network.
Omg so impress just what i was looking for big library in my computer need it in my phone to stream...reads everything!! Wow!
Great, but doesn't support streaming external subtitle files (.srt etc.) from the server.
"Sorry, this video cannot be played". No other info. HDHomerun Prime.
Plays music from my server brilliantly but sometimes you have to search for the function you need ...
Didn't work
Email address isn't working so this one may be abandoned

I've been using this app for ages, and found it very good. But a complete lack of quality control, and you've first released a version that crashes instantly. And the emergency fix is not much better. It now crashes every single time you attempt to go to the Now Playing view. So a perfectly good app now hobbled in the name of so-callex progress. Do not use this version until they've made it as reliable as the version before last. EDIT: Crash in 1.5.1.1 happens when - There is no Album Art to display, i.e. the track playing has no album art, and - The Color Settings have the "Colorify Now Playing" option checked (which is the default).
UPDATE: just saw there is a new version, updated and seems to be running ok so far. Keeps crashing after latest update. Seems to happen randomly, I just selected a track and after a few seconds gor stop message, i cant track it down i am afraid. Running on galaxy tab s4, android 6.0.1. To be clear i have been using MediaHouse for years and it is a brilliant app, just seems to have a bit of a random bug in this update unfortunately. Also i noticed that selecting album and right click to scan audio and play (why not call it play album by the way ?), i sometime only plays the first track. If i try again it normally plays the album. I and using marantz to play to however it also seems to stop when playing locally. Anything i can do to help , please let me know
Alsome app for most of your needs and wants
crashes on start
There are some MINOR glitches with folder recognition but this app PLAYS THE HELL out of my music from my music server! Plays videos too but thats subject to my networks health/speed. The app gives you the option to download the file to your device thus eliminating buffering. Overall this is the BEST network player out there!
I have tried several Apps to play media from WD "mycloud" on TV, but this works fine. It didn't need ezcast app to enable uPnP connection. Just run the app and choose from Nas or Windows media server to play media files on your TV.
What you see in the pictures ain't what you get from the free edition. Ran it on 3 dlna locals and never got what you see here. All I saw was what I could see of folders - only better - in vlc. Don,t waste you time.
This was my go-to app for media streaming from my desktop to my Android devices, but as of today, its been about a year since the app has been updated and I recently got a Chromecast. Another app (BubbleUPnP) has replaced this due to its ability to stream to the Chromecast.
I'm very happy with this, my only suggestion is that visually it could be brought up to date a bit, maybe like Android's Material Style. But it's free, so can't complain at all. Keep up the good work Guy's...
But why does it start playing ramdomly in the bg everytime I get a notification. Have to kill the app to stop playback since it doesn't seem aware its actually playing anything. Not cool when I'm in a freaking conference room.
First app i found that streams successfully from my qnap nas (twonky server). Only problem is after the 5th use, it stopped searching for the server (so i can't steam anymore). Light weight app and pretty quick otherwise.
Immediately uninstalled it. Don't trust apps that use such awful advertising sources! :(
I paid for the Pro version however it's no longer available? I now have ads and the lesser app. Not happy. Go with Plex instead. Much better anyways
And very easy to use. .. detected my nas, tv, computer other phone and works with all of them. Only problem I see is I cant streem from phone to tv
Does what I want, albiet not very intuitively. I'll keep using it for now but once I find something better I doubt I'll look back.
Worked nicely the day the app was installed But now it is not displaying my pc or server. Dont know whether it is the problem of serviio server.
Mired in the depths of a directory search how does one get back quickly to the device chooser menu in case already chosen device can't do flac? What can be done when devices appear at random times rather than when you expect them to be there?!
We'res the pro version gone? I've bought pro already it's asking me to buy pro again why? If this is happening and does not get solved my advice is do not buy they will change it again so more suckers will get ripped off so beware all

Finally an application that detects and browses flawlessly my DLNA server (Serviio). Tested like 10 other apps, some of them with millions of downloads, none of them were able to detect and/or browse the content. GOOD WORK!!
