About Dials Calendar

Public Beta Version of Dials on Android.

The Better Way To View Your Day!

Dials' unique clock-based view of your day is easier and faster to view than the standard “list view” format other mobile calendars use. Dials' “one hand, one thumb” entry and edit of events also makes Dials the easiest and best on-the-go way to manage your schedule.

FEATURES:

- Free!

- Use Dials on its own OR sync with Google and/or iCloud accounts.

- Home Dial countdown to your next event. Don’t forget, don’t be late!

- Contacts and maps integrated, see pictures of who you’re meeting with and where you are going!

- In-App chat (on Dials calendar only) and shared notes with other event attendees

- Simple, fast, “one-hand, one-thumb” who/what/when/where entry for events

- In-App call launch

- 3-color coded system for meetings, calls and tasks to color code events for quick reference

- Just drag an event around the Dial to change event times

- Push notifications, alarms and reminders

Getting an "Error 401" when adding events to the calendar. Can't get anything to add. UPDATE: Uninstalled, reinstalled, logged back in, everything working great! Maybe a cache issue? No clue. Amazing app. Great job to the developers.

My Nexus 5x cant handle this yet. I'm excited to watch the beta progress and will update this review accordingly.

Could not add any event... Error 404.. uninstalled and reinstalled but still. The app looks good though. Please help

C70%

Love this app, but since I added the widget to my home screen it devours my battery, and without the widget the app is far less useful. If that gets fixed then it's 5 stars.

N70%

I wasn't even able to create an account. Once putting in phone number for verification the button won't click to move on to next step.

Few friends are raving about this application on their iPhones, so it finally came to android. So far there si a few bugs which I will forward to the developer. Overall the app is okay, gui is different than others but I believe it is way too much. I rather stick to something simple like google calendar app, one less login to worry about, or a third party stealing my calendar data.

Oops "invalid telephone number" is as far as I get when signing up

W70%

I like the original approach to viewing a calendar. However it would be great if a widget was available. I wont be using it until a widget is available.

First of all, thank you very much for the introduction of the widget. Next step should be to make it more customisable. Now my last remaining issue with the app is this: I have the Man Utd calendar subscribed on my Google Calendar. However the Man Utd calendar does not show up at all on the Dials app. Please fix this. So far working very nice and I like it very much. Also let us add more account types (outlook etc.)

For some reason I never get the verification text! Worthless.

Widget is OK but would like it bigger. And change to week view or month view and maybe colour change too.

Pretty nice app. Still some minor bugs, but definitely needs a widget. My biggest issue is that I receive duplicate notifications for every event. Not sure why. Also, when attempting to contact support through the app majority of support screen is cut off so cannot send anything.

T70%
by T####:

Unique design, which is refreshing and the 12 hour display unclutters what doesn't need to be there. I hope more features will be added - I can't see to make a weekday only repeating event and the noted non-widget, but overall a good start.

T70%
by T####:

Awesome app with a fresh perspective on our calander. WIDGET NEEDED! Opening the app every time I want to get a glance at my schedule is not convenient to an android user cause we have the capabilites of utilizing widget.

T70%
by T####:

It doesn't have widgets and it's only feature is it shows a 12 dial of your day. It'd be more useful if it had a widget and showed dials for weeks and months.

Y70%
by Y####:

Why would you ask for my phone after creating an account using Gmail. Sounds like a lot of data. No thanks. Awful experience.

T70%
by T####:

And it works! If you have probems signing up or whatever, don't try the same thing over and over. Reboot the app. Use a different email. Happy I can use this killer app made by awesome people.

T70%
by T####:

Needs a verification code that never arrived (yes, my phone number is correct). Anyway, without a widget would be useless.

G70%
by G####:

I really appreciate how sharp and original this application looks, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on its progress. Definitely needs a widget but my very first thought when I opened it up was the it would be an awesome home screen replacement somehow. The touch functionality of the interface is also great. I really like it so far!

J70%
by J####:

Love the app but really needs a widget. Sooner the better, was trying to contact you on your in-app support tab but it doesn't fit on my screen. I have the lgv10 so it should fit. Due to the fact that it doesn't have a widget I might uninstall, which I would hate to do but widgets are extremely convenient and who knows how many ppl have already uninstalled for that very same reason. Please consider this addition to your app as soon as possible. Thank you. Great idea for an app.

T70%
by T####:

It's only beta, but it's already a great-looking app. Sync problems but I'm sure it'll be ironed out after the beta.

T70%
by T####:

Perfect to organize your days, and me, as clumsy as I am, I need to have someone to be constantly remindinh me. Don't think everyone should be so harsh, it's still on Beta, so download it and test drive it.

V70%
by V####:

Really cool concept, buggy as hell. The swipe controls that are there in iOS are either missing or sketchy. Needs widgets!

L70%
by L####:

I seriously enjoy the way how this app integrates with my life like a watch. Just need a widget I can place on home screen. So that I don't have to open to app each time to check :)

T70%
by T####:

I can't get past the text verification as it won't change from US to UK , I tried just typing +44 and my number but still no luck, if you can tell me how to get past this I will give a better review

T70%
by T####:

Why does this need my Google information or my phone number? Why does it ask if I want to connect to iCloud? Why has this UI not been updated for Android? Why do I get an email upon registration asking wether I want to join your iOS Facebook group? Smells too much like Apple if you ask me and would suggest other people to search the Play Store for something not as intrusive as this POS.
