DayCatcher Journal for Android
1-opens on the cover page and from there nowhere to go. 2-from the screen shop photos apparently not on time line but hard to tell since can't get pass the opening screen.
Can't do anything without signing in. Uninstalling.
With some added features this could be really good. As it stands I like it. Waiting for updates to be great.
This app has a simple beauty about it. Used evernote for similar purpose but it has too many buttons. This just gets the job done with directness and simplicity. Four star for now but early days. Add a web app and Daycatcher will be a true contender in the note taking world.
Had this on my last phone and loved it! But it won't let me in, change password, or even open a new account. Regrettably have to uninstall. :(
Not really!
Does not login , shows invalid id, just waste of time.
I was able to download this up but unable to make an account. I was looking forward to trying it
For being a full time clinical student in college, this app has been the best app to help keep track of all the things due and upcoming events! It's also a great way to jot down things outside of school/work that you need to do so you won't forget! Reminders are my favorite for when I actually do forget! (Which happens quite often since I have so much going on!) It opens quick and is easy to use!! By far, THE BEST!!
Tried many Diary Journal apps and this does the best, But, you can't share the data or export it. Thank you. I un-installed it. Besides all that, the web site is shut down.
Good look but not too functional. I want to see cross device sync of entries and want to be able to input entry without being on line. Suggest developer takes a cue from others. You can only beat them if you produce what is brtter than theirs.
No notification and it only synced some of the entries. The only thing the pro version did was get rid of the adds. Also on my phone when I try to use the tags the keyboard is in the way so I can't use some of my tags while making an entry with the phone.

I 'm new of Day Catcher but not new of diary app. I tried many apps for this purpose but Day Catcher 's the best. I feel very easily to arrange and review my note when i use type of entry. I used to install Evernote but Ilike the simple and Day Catcher better. I 'm waiting for the web base of this app. If it have, that 's great. And I think app should have a location field to store a place. This 's great app although it 's only 1 year old. Everybody should try it to feel of perfection.
After a new clean installation, sync operation gave me a diary full of question marks. Before that it was perfect.
There's a few things I would add but nothing major. I shall email the list as soon as I can.
A good idea and design, but absolutely NO response from developer about sync problems with Pro version!! If he finally responds, I'll happily revise my review.
Upgraded to Pro only to find it won't operate as stated. No response from the developer. The free version is okay, but the Pro version is nothing short of a scam.

Love this app. Great for collecting thoughts and keeping track of the many things that go in daily. Love that I can put pictures in it to remember the great times!
Great layout and easy to use. I don't know how much I'll use it however as I'm not sold on the backup. Would much prefer to use dropbox or Google drive.
I love journalling. Really hoping for the app to be put on androids 'share' list so we can share items from other apps...especially the Internet app...to clip items w/pictures! Also...brighten up the home page with each note type with a different color! Thanks
This app has a great concept for me to log phone calls and important things throughout the day.
Seems like great app but needs modifications
This app has been great for me to keep track of clients and potential customers. Great little CRM for my small business.
Only get slash screen
This is like a note book .
I like.

DayCatcher is a tremendously useful little app. For me, it's replacing a Evernote, Diaro, and Google Tasks. And that's only in the last two days! I've had no instability issues at all, which is nice for a new app. I'd like to see landscape support and local security backups, but the pros outweigh those couple of cons. The tagging and people links are great. As is the range of different kinds of entries. If never thought of that, but it's very handy.
This is almost the perfect diary app, Almost! The main problem for me is that there is no local Backup & restore to memory card as i like to be in control of my data and where it is stored. As the app is is always in edit mode I've already accidentally deleted a few lines of text without realising then done a sync and data was lost. Sync is ok for keeping multiple devices in sync but not as the main Backup. Also more than one image per entry would be good. A very good app that will get better!!!
There are some buggy bits, to be expected when it's so early in the applications life, but the core operation is already sorted and is capable of being many things to many people. I wanted to use it for Journalling originally but found I was already thinking of ways it could fit my workflow for other uses, like tasking, note taking, maintaining working or family relationships. Worth supporting for a trifling £1.85, only four stars for now because nothing is perfect. Hoping for data download for offline backup purposes, a web app so I can access it from my Linux laptops and a bit of functional tidying up. EDIT: As of 24/5/14 there has been no development to this app since my initial review, despite good email dialogue with the developer so although it still stands I am uninstalling to move to another solution.
Would be nice to chronicle my thoughts thru location(s) via GPS interface .. Can we get that?
