About Rep Coach

Rep Coach is a simple app to count out a rhythm at a specified tempo i.e. you give it the rhythm "Up 2 Down 2" and it will speak "up, one, two, down, one, two...." until stopped.

Rep Coach is particularly useful for repetitive exercises where each repetition has multiple moves, and for exercises where the main goal is to hold a certain position for a period of time. For example, physiotherapy movement exercises, or core body stability exercises such as planks.

Rep Coach also keeps track of the number of repetitions performed during a session.

This is a great simple app and it does what I wanted. My ONLY SUGGESTION would be to add a feature where you can put in the total number of reps you want to do and then the app can say completed or a buzzer can go off.

As others mentioned, wish you could define a max number of repetitions, plus define a preparation time before the actual counting begins and allow duplication (as a template for a new timer) & reorganization of timers . I use this app for physical therapy to count reps and keep time for stretches. It's great. I love how you can kind of program your own activities so it works exactly how I need it to. Some more options to edit the activity would be nice such as different ways to add pauses, choose the number of sets, and to select the number of reps or sets to stop at. I like the idea of scripting my workout like a macro. Would also be nice to choose a different voice.

It's a tiny little app that keeps your mind off of the hassle of counting reps, which makes you concentrate more on the form. But it needs some work to be rated as 5 stars. It needs a pause in the beginning of each workout, an option were number of reps are counted out loud & an option for limiting number of reps.

I almost feel as if a person is guiding my operated limb! I always messed up my timing in my physio exercises. No more now! Suggestion: It would have been great to set the max number of reps by user too so i dont have to look each time at screen to see number of reps i completed and just focus on my exercise. Please help.

Nice little app for keeping the tempo and count for multiple exercises. Works fine on my HTC One X. I'm doing a routine for press ups which involves specific tempo sets combined with planks, which varies each week. Hoping this app will keep me on track better. A suggestion for next release would be to be able to input the target number of reps and the app tells you when you've completed them and stops counting.
