App is basic. Using Nexus 6p phone, app tries to update and down load but keeps getting stuck at 99%. It tells you to keep trying but I can't download. Tried restarting the phone several times, tried wifi and LTE but no luck. Jst beware.

This app is nothing but questions upon questions. Once you miss things then you can get to explanations. Some bugs will cause you to switch screens/questions and not even realize it. If you want just sample questions then this may be good for you but shouldn't be more that $10 in my opinion. I figured with a $50 price tag that it would be a great app and my main source of further eduction for my 107. I was wrong. Nothing FAKE about this review. I am average guy working on getting my 107.

I went through every single practice question and they are very similar to the exam questions! I would recommend this app for everyone. Just passed my exam with 90%

This app made learning the part 107 info really quick and fun. I pretty much went through all of the questions in this app over and over until I understood all of it. Once I was confident I had the knowledge down, I took several practice tests and consistently passed them every time with 90% or better. I ended up passing the part 107 test in 20 mins...a test they give you two hours to complete. This app really fit my learning style. I like being asked questions, and then researching and learning about the ones I don't know or understand. This app makes tracking down the answers easy by describing them in detail with some having diagrams and charts. It made learning this info a lot quicker! I still open the app and test myself to keep everything fresh in my head. This app was definitely worth purchasing! I used this app on my Nexus 7 tablet, my Motorola Droid Turbo, and my Note 7...RIP...miss you! :(

This app works...JUST AS ADVERTISED! The problem many others probably had is they didnt realize just how much knowledge is needed to take this test. I went in knowing nothing other than basic drone care and I studied my tail off and passed with a 93%! But I know that others failed because they didn't put in the effort. Wouldn't be surprised if some of the neg feedback is due to that. If your looking for a cheaper alternative to Drone U...and willing to study...then use this app...its well worth it!

Spend $50 more and just enroll in an online ground school with videos, this is useless unless you want sample questions.

I completed a Udemy course that left me feeling very ill-prepared. Went searching for an app and almost avoided this one due to bad reviews. I am so glad I went with it! For a person with no aviation background who struggled to grasp some of the concepts required this was just what I needed. Thorough explanations accompany each question and my favorite part was being able to filter out the questions I had no problems with and focus on the trouble areas (stacks). Couldn't be happier!

Overall fantastic study guide. It's basically 500ish sample questions all with good explanations and diagrams to explain the answer. Breaking all the material down into individual questions means you only have to learn one thing at a time as opposed to trying to absorb everything at once. My one complaint is that when doing "learn by listening" the audio skips a bunch making it almost useless. I'm on a Note 3; I don't know if other devices will have this problem. I spent about an hour a day for a week with this app and some additional googling for more detail on certain questions and passed with a 97%

I just scored a 92% after using this app and the FAA's study guide and watching a few videos on airspace. I suggest reading the official guide a few times before using this app and then flagging any questions that you have difficulty with. The app gave me confidence to schedule to take the official test and my score was near what I got when I take the practice tests. I spent about 20 hours studying. Time to take a break from this app now! I will use it again in about 2 years for my recertification.

I can't say enough great things about Dauntless! I had zero aviation experience, but wanted to get my drone license. A friend of mine studying for his private pilot license recommended the Dauntless line. I bought the app on Wednesday, and passed the test the following Monday - 88%, and it only took me a 1/2 hour of the allotted 2 hours in the testing room! The instant feedback in the app really helps, and the explanations are wonderful for learning the reasoning behind the answers instead of just memorizing answers. That way, if you see a slightly different question during the real test, you know HOW to solve it. I plan to start taking private pilot lessons soon, and have already purchased the app for that.

Great app with nice content, when it works. But the devs implemented the worse update system ever. Will not download audio files, gets stuck half way, etc, seems like the downloads are hosted on a slow server. Must be programmed by a bunch of old and very cheap geezers.... These issues render the app useless on most devices. Only seems to work on my older phone with the older version, I cant update that one fully either. Please fix this and I'll update my review. Some how make updates actually work. Please.

I do not often write reviews as one it is an effort and two many of the reviews seem to be either competition(negative) or so rosy they must be a paid for the review (positive). The first thing I will say is there is no short cut to studying for the exam. Down load the study guide and the supplement and study. There are several free sites with questions. The first thing to know is the FAA study guide alone will not get you by on the test. There are many other questions that come from several other sources for FAA pilot certification, not just the unmanned certification. I hunted an search for additional information and tests. I unexpectedly ran across this app when doing a search for best source to help with passing FAA Drone pilot test. Trust me when I say I do like to spend money on an app and the $50 was something I had to process. I took the test today and passed with a 95% missing only 3 questions. I can honestly say this app was 75% responsible for this. There is more I could say but I am out of room. It will be the best $50 you spend if you want to pass and receive your sUAG license.

There is much to be desired with this app. In theory it's a great idea, however in practice it needs a lot of improvement or complete rewrite. There are many, many bugs, quarks and crashes. While the study info is good (I presume) the functionality is less then poor. I suggest you look elsewhere for a study tool. I am not a competitor to this app, as the dev replies like to suggest. I have a modern smart phone (LGG4), which the devs also like to blame for issues. All in all, using this app is a disappointing and frustrating experience. UPDATE: I added 1 more star because I passed the test with 93%. I give credit where credit is due and attribute my success to the INFO in the this app. I only printed a FAA Weather Theory and the Remote Pilot Study guide. I did reinstall the app and experienced the same issues. One of the most frustrating is when you rotate the phone from portrait to landscape in listening mode and the audio/question restarts. Or when you hear the cell phone communication sound every 20min or so, "blip ba da blip ba da buzzzzzzz", when listening to audio. It's loud with ear buds in! When app crashes, it asks if you want to send a crash report. I've sent 11.

I definitely give this a 5 star rating. The previous reviewers don't seem to know what they are talking about. The help desk has been very quick getting back to me and actually answered my questions on the product. I haven't been thru all of the features that are offered on the software yet., but the question and answer section is fantastic and the immediate feedback, if wanted, is excellent reinforcement for my type of learning. I also tried the flash card part and it also helps in learning. I like the part where you can save sessions and come back to the same place later. If you are not sure whether you want it or not check out the pc trail version. You'll probably get hooked like I did!

I'm running this app on my Galaxy S7 Edge with no problems at all. The negative reviews are very suspect, in my opinion. First, use the flashcard learning for all the categories. Then, listen to the audio explanations while on the road. Run through some practice tests and you'll be amazed at how well this app actually teaches you. The thorough explanations for every test question are invaluable! UPDATE: I passed with a score of 82%! Missed 11 questions, but was totally my fault. This app helped a ton!

K70%

Don't waist your money in this app, it's a long way from ready. Multiple answer questions don't work and some options are irresponsive. I wrote asking for a refund and they blaimed Google Apps saying they don't allow refunds. They never tried to solve my issues, all I've got was an insulting email. Very disappointing. There are better options and books online starting at $15!!!
