While I was studying for my ground exam I found one question in this app that the answer was wrong. I emailed the company with the error and nobody replied my email with an explanation. When I did my exam last week I passed, but this app didn't help as none of the questions shown on this app were available in the real exam. I passed because I found other reliable source and also cheaper, something I really could trust. Shame I already spent my money in the commercial pilot app, wish I can have my money back

I started out really LOVING this app. The flashcards were super helpful. I felt like I was learning a lot. But I was also using a Gleim study book, and I soon found out that the app was missing questions, and answered a few incorrectly. Plus, the questions were organized pretty funky. Even with that, I still liked it until about a week, week and a half after I installed it, and it started crashing CONSTANTLY. Disappointed.

I have been using this software for almost ten years,and have had no issues till now. The audio does not work it locks up and when it does work most of the questions are missing. But the real problem, there is no support. I have e mailed twice with no response.

These guys have put together a GREAT test preparation AND learning tool. I've used Gleim and ASA, and still do to obtain the "Instructor sign-off", but I start with this application and the various FAA publications (all of which are free to download). Really, all kidding aside, this FAA Instrument Knowledge application is great. All FAA written exam questions are available for download from the FAA web site, BUT it is the ANSWER EXPLANATIONS provided by this application that really do allow for understanding the material. If you don't like it after purchasing it, they will refund the purchase, but I've never had any desire to. Using tablet with Android OS.

The look and feel of the app is not very good. However, the content and usefulness are excellent. Update: Just passed the written with a score of 97. I credit this app. The explanations given for each question are superb. Thank you Dauntless! (look and feel...still not so great).

Easy to study wherever you are. Great explanations for each question, showing text and pix from FAA manuals. On a tablet, the figures are great.

I used this app for my CFI-Instrument written test, though most people will use it for the IFR written. In a word, it's excellent. There are a lot of good features, but what really sets it apart are the highly detailed explanations. App worked like a charm on my Xoom tablet. I scored 100% on my test - this app is worth every penny.

The goal with every practical test: Take enough practice tests to the point where you essentially remember the answer to every question. Use this religiously 2 weeks before the exam, and you'll be done in under an hour. Took me 45 minutes to get a 97! Just spend the $ and avoid the headache!
