Buyers beware. I took a test drive of the 800cc version and the gear knob came off in my hand while I was driving and changing the gear. So much for build quality. Sorry Datsun but I had to say this.

I have purchased redi go 800 cc car before 7 months. Now i realise that it was the worst decision of my life to buy this car. I have another option for buying car in this same budget but i have select the un trusted n worthless car. Problems for this car why it was my worst decision ? Company n showroom person is saying mileage is 25.17 kmpl. I m using this car since last 7 months. It gave me a mileage of only 16 kmpl. Either i use car with ac or without ac it gave me the same mileage. N second shocking result is that i have used my 90% travel to only HIGH WAY not in CITY AREA. So the FUTURE BUYER just think twise if u drive in city just think how much it gives u a mileage???? I think its only 11 to 12 kmpl. So company is giving u WRONG information that this car gave a GOOD MILEAGE. For this issue, i have compain so many times but no body is interested to even listen. First time when i complain for this, they told me that after 6 month when first service was done, car will give u 22 to 23 kmpl. But i m satiesfied with only 19 to 20 kmpl. But after service there is no any difference in mileage. The result was the same. Only 16-17 kmpl mileage. I m fully fully n fully un satiesfied with the mileage performance of redi go. Now the FUTURE BUYER BEWARE n THINK TWISE for the INVEST in your DREAM CAR n pay your VALUABLE MONEY. Either they sold me faulty piece or they are saying wrong. Ill regularly comment here if any change was happend in my car.
