SMOKALOT818....I've been a member for about almost 5 years now, and not once has it failed on me. Lots of good upcoming artist with fire "tapes", and even well known artist with fire mixtapes also. Overall, I will continue to be a member and keep the app as long as... YOU DO WHAT YOU DO, DAT PIFF.

You guys have the dumbest way of retrieving a password I don't know what my username was all I know is my e-mail this is really annoying and your app and mobile web page don't let me retrieve my username

Great dj mixes. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is cause the albums don't describe what dj mixed it on most of them. Not until you listen anyway

It does what it says, even if you have to sift through a ton of garbage. It's still a good way to display your work...

Unable to multitask similar to other music apps. Seems to pull an awful amount of data vs spotify. Great other than that. Fix and will be 5 star. Great job!

Easy to download. Only issue is it doesnt allow you to pick the destination of where to download your music to so you have to move it in your files folder to your SD card manually.

Why when I download sometimes on of the songs from the mixtape im downloading appears by its self in my music player instead of with the other songs and why when you download music so many empty foldees are in the same files

Datpiff has been a staple for me in 15+ years of following hip-hop and the app is fairly easy to navigate. The only issue I have is the file naming conventions which aren't standardized (i.e. artist - song title). The METADATA is all good though so this shouldn't be a problem for most users. I did see a review of someone comparing Spotify premium to Datpiff. Let me say this - Datpiff is free. Datpiff hosts decades worth of classic mixtapes. 99% of which are FREE. I use Spotify as well but let's be serious - it's not catered to the serious hip hop listener.

Great App probably the best App out there to get your favourite Mixtapes. No issues at all and no bugs to reports so far. Keep up to great work, absolutely Love It. Why people are still saying they can't download songs/albums is anyone's guess as there's nothing wrong with the APP at all. So may the issue is on your end and a quick uninstall and reinstall may do the trick if not then who knows but all I know is its working great for me and always has been. Even when there was no App the website did wonders so can never say a bad thing about DATPIFF. Always been my favourite Mixtape App and always will be. Great JOB.

Fairly good, lightweight app. I feel like I've had this longer than anything else. It's come a long way, but could still use a few fixes. Sometimes the app will start a song randomly if it is open in the background and not in use, but that's not such a large complaint. Good stuff. Just as necessary as Google search.

Update the app is much better. And who doesn't love love free love free music. Thx The app is ok it won't let me login. Every time I get unfortunately the app has stopped. Had my account on the site for a while. No videos either. But for what I wanted the app for it does. Mixtape preview n the fly before I download. So im ok with it for now. Fix this app please

I rated this a while ago and it still isn't fixed. It used to work perfectly. Doesn't download the tracks. Fix for better rating. Yall can do better. Now I cant login WTH Datpiff? Its time for an update that works!!! *Edit* Finally I can update my rating to 4 stars because its fixed. Its been a long time coming from 2013.

Doesn't need datpiff anymore since you can't stream offline like Spotify ..don't really need two music app so I rarely go on datpiff now. It's been my favorite app for the last years for sure but for now there is nothing beating a premium account on Spotify.

DatPiff definitely might have whatever old mixtape you may be looking for. The only thing that sucks is you can't really search by song, you have to know the mixtape title. Unlike other apps though you can download pretty much everything instead of just being able to listen to them.

Please put a close (x) button in the notification shade for the music player. When I close the app, I should have the option to close the player after I'm done playing a song/album. Annoying to have to actually force stop the app or go to tasks and close. Very simple fix.

Love the app. I just dont like when you download music it doesnt create a music file. Its just goes to a datpiff folder with other random folders. Maybe some things are out of your control, thats the only reason i gsve it 4 stars

Ok look one of the questions that the new version of Google play store has don't even give this app, this Webster's advanced version that has no real words out yet to actually describe any aspect and well to some that may be over kill but not if you are a serious music lover and I mean serious. This app has done wonders over the years for me and by my short review someone can actually relate or begin to understand what I am texting about. This is such an understatement but if it didn't say "write a short review" it would be ridiculous. Ya feel me....lol. love this app. More than people it never let's me down. NEEEEEEEVER! App itself is fun but it's horrible for using for a real music service. I love to listen to different mixtapes but you cant skip songs. If you try to skip songs in the car on Bluetooth controls, or with headphones it just pauses the song. That's annoying. It also slows my ohone down horribly while the app is in use. After I close it, my ohone is fine. So there is a consumption issue. Once these are fixed I'll update my review

Who can really hate on free music downloads? I mean it's free! LOL Plus they're actually not bad albums, well mixtapes I should say. The only thing I can think of that could make it better would probably be a free trial of some sort. *Hint Hint* So we can download all the music that we want.

Good job on this new version. Best mixtape app out there hands down!!! The only other app that I need is Apple music so I can hear studio albums. If Datpiff had studio albums, I would pay for this app. Thank you Datpiff for being the best!!!! 100

Worst app on play store. Coded like garbage so it has a ridiculous latency issue. It might take you no time type the word future for example but will take 30 secs or more to show up. 90% of time it doesn't even play the music when you click the play button. 0/10 functionality. 0/10 would download again.

Love this app for a few reasons mainly being easier to use than most. Fast downloading nd hardly any buffering. But it could just be my service as well. Phone using on: Motorola G4 play

I've had this app for over a year and it's gotten worse with time. I was just on it and it was so laggy and bugged out. Also I don't approve of the garbage that yall allow.

ADS are annoying, Download stops and need to re-start again. Overall this app is good, not too good either. Not all albums are available too. I'll rate 5 stars later

Love that you can stream, download and with downloads you have the option to do full album or just specific songs. Only issue is there are a few classic albums (old joe budden, wu or dipset) that are on site but they have errors you can't download. Wish they would work or delete them from available downloads.

Huge fan of the datpiff website, but the app is TRASH !!! It's buggy, crashes more times than a NASCAR driver, and just is inconsistent overall. Idk who coded this app, but they should quit immediately. Get job in retail or something.

This is an amazing app. If you like to stay on point with your music this is a must have for sure! I haven't had any issues with it yet. It runs smoothly and the mix-tape selection is awesome, endless selection. I love this app!!

I Love it!¡..Sadly on some off my devices, like right now on my Lenovo Yoga.,When I go to download my favorite albums.. the app keeps restarting I checked my setting all permissions are allowed and working properly. Then it says it's downloaded the songs but they do not show up on my music app for my device., and there on the downloads section saying that there queued or whatever so clicked retry downloading and won't work???? please fix this! Thanks Keisha!????

The only app where you can actually download tapes but some of them don't download correctly. And you can't clear the music from your status bar, that's annoying

Loved the PC version. Pure garbage for the mobile version since I updated. Matter of fact, I have a screenshot to show the UI doesn't even load. Disappointed, SMH.

pretty good. most new and good albums aren't downloadable though. also need some A-WAX. have some older albums but it's the new ones that go hard like three microwaves in the kitchen

Warning once u download this app u will not be able to get back in even if u no ur password warning don't download it's useless u gone have to keep down loading I use my Google an yahoo.they refuse to help you

I loved it at first but the last few months I would start playing a mixtape (sometimes on my Bluetooth speaker) and the song/mixtape would just stop playing any sound whatsoever. Like it shows the Songs playing but you can't hear anything

ANY comment i post is rejected as spammy. And it could something simple like "this tape is classic". Fix that...

Great for mixtapes. Screen is super touchy and wants to scroll with simple taps. Sometimes it's really annoying, like when driving and trying to pick a tape. Docked a star for that. Otherwise, it's great for hearing new artists.

Pretty awesome. I know it's mostly for up and comers but I wish they had more access to the older mixtapes. Clue,Kay Slay,Green Lantern etc.

F**k this app.... ive never been on an app with this many pop up ads..... livemixtapes embarrasses datpiff now...

Newer version's steady improving. Still got mad ads especially when downloading a mix tape. It'll back out the app and come back but it still downloading in the background. Downloads real quick tho.
