What are users saying about Best Dice

Z70%
by Z####:

So, adding more dice? No menu option? If you remove all the dice there's no way to add ANY. This "Best Dice" app is in fact the worst so far. Can't believe I actually paid money for it.

Z70%
by Z####:

I use to use this app constantly... Then I got the Galaxy S7, which no longer has a "menu" button ... Now I can't use it at all. I started playing around and found the menu button. It's the "back" button, but you have to hold it down.

C70%
by C####:

How do I get to the dice? It gave me a D20 and then let me remove it, but there's no obvious way to get proper dice going

C70%
by C####:

With no menu button, this app is valueless to users of most Samsung devices due to the inability to access the menu to create new dice. So, as long as you just want to roll a d12 and a d20, it's perfect. If this is ever updated to include a software access to the menu then I'll rate it 5 stars.

I70%
by I####:

I use this a good bit for my gaming, and not just RPG type games. Adding and modifying dice is a bit clunky, but once the tables are configured everything runs smooth. I would like to see an update to how the styles are applied. Adding multiple dice is a pain if you're going for a specific asthetic. Maybe when adding a dice to copy the style that's currently copied?

H70%
by H####:

Unless you are in a situation where you can shake the phone the dice doesn't always catch the momentum to roll decently, it simply slides across the screen. ---- On the other hand: The 3D looks great and the die models looks superb. The concept of several "dice bags" or tables is great -- the app remembers which dice you've placed on what table.

F70%
by F####:

Every time I close the app it crashes so it forgets all the dice I made. On htc m8 running marshmallow. Used to love this app.

C70%
by C####:

This is my favorite die rolling app, but it doesn't work on Samsung devices because they don't have a button that allows you to add more dice. Please fix this, I miss using this app.

S70%
by S####:

Certain android devices, like the samsung avant, don't have the traditional "options" button and, instead, have an admittedly useless "recent apps" button in its place. And so I suggest a feature. Add in either an on screen dice drawer slider to access the dice or make it so that a long press on the table brings up the menu for the app itself. As it stands, the app is nice, but unusable on my current device! Add this little compatibility tweak and it'll have five stars from me!

Samsung galaxy tab 4 , fail. Should have read the reviews.

S70%
by S####:

The position of the preferences soft key is incompatible with a Samsung Note 4. Cannot create new dice. Would give this 4 or 5 stars if this app worked as intended.

S70%
by S####:

Would be a perfect 5 star, but the numbers on (at least) the d20 are in the wrong positions. It drives my OCD into overdrive. The 20 should not be adjacent to the 1.

J70%
by J####:

Simple and clean. That is exactly how dice apps should be. There are just a couple minor annoyances that keep me from rating this 5 stars. 1) We need the ability to set default styles for dice. Copying styles is nice, but not needing to set the style once you find one you like is nicer. 2) Save the custom screen backgrounds! I use this app for an RPG system that utilizes the four standard playing card suits (hearts, clubs, diamonds, and spades) to organize different actions your character can take during a round, and it looks like the custom backgrounds disappear after you close the app. It may be a bug, but it is one worth fixing. If it isn't, it's a feature worth adding. 3) On that note, being able to set up the tables and save them under a profile would also be a nice feature to have so that you can save time by loading up a profile you set up beforehand for whatever system you are using. 4) Make the buttons at the top a bit more opaque so that they stand out against custom backgrounds, or let us adjust the appearance and colors of those icons and buttons.

K70%

Almost perfect dice roll app. Only thing I miss is an extra option to have the two sided dice show 'Head' or 'Tail', turning it into a TRADITIONAL coin flip also.

F70%
by F####:

Good physics and highly customizeable dice! Runs smoothly on my Evo Shift.

K70%

Dice seem real enough.

B70%
by B####:

Love this app as it's really fun to use. The ability to customise the colour of each dice is quite special.

K70%
by K####:

This set is the best dice i have found. One feature i would like to see added would be for it not to switch the screen automatically to landscape when the tablet is in portrait mode.

K70%
by K####:

Fun app but freezes regularly on DROID RAZR

K70%
by K####:

Wonderful app!

K70%
by K####:

I don't use regular dice since I found this app! I absolutely love it. The only thing I'd like to see is the translucent dice that other people have mentioned and the ability to set a picture as background and not have it stretch the picture or to choose the best layout for the pic, like you would for a wallpaper on your phone.

K70%
by K####:

This app is excellent, but it only uses the cell's menu button which doesn't exist on the Galaxy S5, so there's no way to add dies. Maybe add a menu button?

S70%

You cannot find a better dice app on the market.

X70%
by X####:

Nice app. Basically does what is required of dice. Glad to see the 20-sided dice as well.

K70%

The title says it all. It took a while but it works on Jelly Bean now as well.

K70%
by K####:

I use a different app for roleplaying so this as a generic dice roller is wonderful stuff. The cloud patterning emulates Chessex's Gemini set beautifully. Some things I'd like to see: more types like d7, d5, d3, d30; more number options like Fudge, heads&tails (generic line drawing perhaps), weather, arrow and expression d6, season d4, I Ching and compass direction d8; and more tables and backgrounds? Or maybe the option to display part of a custom background instead of squishing it? Keep up excellent work.

Downloaded and worked just great on my Asus Transformer, but now it fails to load following an OS upgrade to Android 4.1.1.

A70%

despite claiming compatibility doesnt seem to want to work on a Nexus. hope this will be fixed with patches soon.

Some settings would be nice. i.e. Default number type and colours for new dice. Swipe to change between dice sets would also be good.

Next best option to having the real thing.

J70%

Very good and cool app, but sometimes freezes on my Galaxy SII

L70%

Developer fixed it right up nice when jelly bean broke it.

J70%

It just works. None of the others seem to do that well, and can't get my $ back for them either.

D70%
by D####:

Until I got my Note 3. Now the dice don't move when I shake my phone. I tried disabling and re-enabling the motion control, but nothing happened. If this is fixed, I'll bump my rating up to 5 stars.

This is by far the coolest and most impressive 3D die/dice roller out there! The physics are great and the die models looks superb. Nothing to complain about. The low price was astounding too. The concept of several "dice bags" or tables is great -- the app remembers which dice you've placed on what table. I even use this app just to play with when idling. Such fun! I love it!

R70%

It's a handy app, I would like it more if there was a way to clear off all the die at once.

R70%

Love it. Just wish it had translucent GEM style dice.

X70%
by X####:

Literally the best dice app. The only thing to make it better would be more designs would be nice

R70%
by R####:

Great for rolling 10d6 but the numbers are in the wrong places on the dice. On a d20 the numbers 8, 14, and 2 are around the 20, not 8, 14, and 1.
