Meal Memory for Android
Logging a meal starts with a photo. Next, add a carbohydrate estimate and a pre-meal blood sugar reading with two quick swipes. Two hours later, we’ll send an alert asking for a post-meal blood sugar. With blood sugar readings from before and after eating, patients can see how well they've managed the meal. This information can be used to more accurately manage this meal the next time it's eaten.
After I enter my post-meal sugar, I hit save, but the only way to get back to the photo-steam is to hit "back". This takes my back to the BGL slider and if I hit back again, it saves my post-meal BGL as 100, so all of my post-meals are the same.
No option for mmol/L yet and I like the pictures idea. I'll check back on this app in a year
I'm new to diabetes and learning. This application has some good ideas. Unfortunately, I can't see a way to edit a saved entry. This means my computer monitor will always be worth 245 carbs. I'll check back later but the application isn't adding enough value to warrant entering my blood glucose into yet another database.
Camera locks up on launch with HTC One M7 so can't complete an entry. Fix this and I'll definitely try again.
This is a really promising app. When it uses metric BG units, and let's me log insulin usage with each meal it will be fantastic.
