Wow, this app is great ! Simple, easy and quick. Using a file explorer, create a folder with the pics you want to show. Then start the app "Simple Slide Show". Show it where your folder is and set it as the default folder. Then just tap on one of the pictures to start the slide show. Great app, thank you so much. Don't change or add anything !

Photos will not go full screen, the top bar with the clock and notifications is always visible. There are also no sort options, so unless everything is alphanumerically ordered, you won't get the result you're after. Besides that, however, the app is fine. Small footprint and it does was it says it will do.
