Amazed that this app still works on Android 4.3..with occasional crashes but only when i manually enter app. Other than that, no problem with OC or UV..& profile sticks after reboot..using the donate version. Hope the maintenance update with bug fixes will come soon as tweeted by dev. 4 stars til crashes is resolved..

This is an over clocking brick part only entitling CPU runs over normal state up "to where it can". By simply setting up high frequencies CPU will attempt runs to a targeted frequency. Changing voltage changes the environment making it inhabitable for high freqs. Imagine you change the game resolution. Now you see it "closer" but the screen doesn't catch the whole thing. You amplify voltagees allowing CPU to pick suitable high freqs but then the phone crashes when not catching the whole output of the CPU.

Does not do much of any use on a Droid 2 ( a955) kernel version 2.632.9 - gca08d89 & on Gingerbread 2.3.7 .. no voltage adjust present & only allows basic cpu control that I already have. 3 stars because it runs & did not crash phone.

Took my Vibrant from lasting from 9 hr's at 40% to 9 hr's to 65% or better. Truly awesome. How androids batteries should last. I now can compete and outlast my buds with iPhones.

Works on Galaxy Note running CM9 Nightlies, although with no GPU control. Useful thing to have, especially since SetCpu causes wakelocks (sometimes).

S3 mini was lagging a little bit, used this app, along with cCleaner, now it isn't ! Sweet

It slows the phone down and prevent phone from sleeping well thereby battery drain. Not supporting ICS or JB or Aokp. Emulate the development on Tergrak Over clock or Antutu CPU.

Y'all devs were so slow to respond with our concern! This crap have force close issues right after we grant root permission. Stop being a slacker and start doing your job for christ's sake. I bought the VC extreme but it's completely useless as f*ck because of the force close issue

Realised my phone can't get to deep sleep mode after using this app for sometime. plus i couldn't find out which has caused this till I uninstall this piece. I'm on stock jb and kernel.. "no frills" is better..

Mr. Bo Lansdale, you're a tool sir for your review. OK, I keep having occasional force close issues with this on every phone I've used it on which is 6 different phones. Also, doesn't always work either. I. started using the No Frills CPU app and no issues along with seeing noticeable increases when I overclock that just weren't there with this app. I suppose it might help to mention that this app displayed same behavior on every phone when on both the stock and custom ROM's. At least it's consistent. LOL

There's no voltage control tab as described. Why this app is named Voltage control when I have no control over voltage.

This app does not let you go beyond your ▶KERNEL◀ (look it up newbz) CPU frequency limit, this app only allows you to overclock when you have a custom kernel that allows overclocking. So for all you people saying does not work, it works great. Great job developer on this app (:

This app has been my favorite app overall in the whole market! I love it and its a must have in all my devices. Crashes here and there but not so much where it bothers me. Running smoothly on sgs2 rooted and flashed with Jedi Mind Trick . I love my GS2 now . Thank you developer

I have the shadow fc09 kernel. Has anyone used this app with this kernel? I dont want to brick my phone I've done it before and it was not fun lol.

Even though I saved default settings at boot, I still have to reset manually.

Does its job but I always have to reconfigure my setting everytime I reboot, which sucks. Pro version is much better

Theres no tutorial how to use. Theres no voltage tab at all. How am i suppose to know im saving battery life , Or if my performance is good ? Idont see any cHanges. UPDATE IMMEDIATELY

It does nearly the same things of SetCPU but for free. 4 stars because it allows only steps of 25mV while my kernel has steps of 20mV, and so it will miss some voltages. That should be adjusted and I will give 5 stars. BTW do not rate it poorly if your phone isn't rooted and/or you don't have a custom kernel that supports the dynamic under volting. These tools are graphical user interfaces to modify kernel's system files. If it doesn't work it's because your kernel is crap, not the application!!

No voltage control for GB2.3.7..? Then it is useless man.. Dell streak running MIUI2.4.2, phoenix kernel..

This app doesn't do much on my phone but it allows for some easy overclocking and a major performance overhaul on my mk802.

Don't download if you are noob and think this can change your kernel (higher OC or lower UV). Destroying your SOC will void your warranty.

Does what it's supposed to do without any issues. Simple & neat interface. If it is possible could the developer also add support for GPU control as then it would make the app complete.

force closes randomly when applying changes, and interface isn't tablet optimized. Also, values appear incorrectly... "upside down" : lowest voltage values next to highest cpu frequencies??!! plz fix! thanks in advance!

Works without issue, but I went back to setcpu cause there's no option to set profiles.

Quick install with a lot of info during the 1st run. works fine on rooted Motorola x910 with 4.0.4 , Quadrrant results : Before VC: total of 2600 -+ After VC : Total of 3200-+

Does not work says no root access when every other root applications work on my phone in fact I had rom manager and ran cm7 for a while so you can tell me that I don't have root access it also brings ads to my status bar if you own an lg optimus phone don't download cause it will not work I will never recommend this app to anyone so I wanted to know why it is not working it is supposed speed up your processor but does not work on lg optimus devices TERIBBLE

I have tried different kernels and overclocking and underclocking apps. This app truly is so powerful given you have installed the right kernel and siyah is the one I have. Just can't figure out why some users give low rating, I suggest u provide ur device with the right configuration before trying this one. You should also try the dev's other apps. This is a keeper. Mindblowing!!! Thumbs up 4 u dev! Keep up d good work!

I'm glad to say that voltage control is functional on jb 4.2.1 and working on galaxy nexus. To the reviewers that rate poorly, does your kernel support Over clocking and/or under volting?if not then all voltage control will do is basic CPU control...

4.4.4, crashes on launch after granting permission to root

This is just lime all the other apps. It does not go above 1.4 Ghz and thats my standard cpu speed. If onky there was one that could go above 1.4 Ghz. Dont worry this is nit the only app that received 3 stars. Will rate 5 if i can go higher than 1.4 Ghz
