Music Library for Android
The free version worked great, this paid version imported the free version list fine, barcode scanner worked for about ten CDs now it just keeps crashing. If it would let me scan anything I'd love it, but this seems pretty broken
Bought this in good faith to have a list of my vinyls. Already the 2nd album ( latest pixies album wasn't in the database). So unless you are eager to enter most stuff by hand this isn't a usable app.

Cover art not showing up on album, some will show up if you touch the artists folder but not on the artist. No way to fetch cover art all at once. You have to do one album at a time. This is not good.
I wish I could get my money back on this one. The barcode scanner causes the app to quit. The thumbnail of a manually entered file does not show up on the shelf, though it does if you tap on the folder to open it. If you try to enter a title and singer/musician and then do search, you get the message that nothing was found. (On a Beatles album? Vince Gill? etc. Come on!) Don't waste you money on this one.
Not bad for start. But have serious flav. Can't add more than one disk at the time from artist search. Scanning barcode way to too often can't find a CD. No option to import track records. No full list of artists discography.
Takes way to long to create a collection with this app. I gave up after a few hours when I only had a dozen items completed. Cannot recommend.
Just a tip for those that are trying to transfer your library from one device to another. IT DOES NOT BACKUP TO AN SD CARD. You will need to backup to your old device then go into your files and move the com.dandydev.medialibrary folder to your SD card. Then put the SD card in the new device and replace the com.dandydev.medialibrary folder on your device with the one from the SD card.
Been using free version for past 3 years. Today i upgrade but i cant get all my cds collection into the upgrade version. Help.
Paid for and downloaded tried adding my vinyl collection and of the first 20 titles I have tried to add the app has only found details of 3 albums. Does the database only contain the developers personal collection
Best music collection app I've found. They need to add Digital Format as an option along with vinyl, cassette, CD.
A great app for cataloging and browsing your music collection. The latest updates have made this a 5 star app. UPDATE Just got a new phone. Ran the in app backup on old phone. Copied the files to new one and restored. Worked perfectly.
I've always used Google Sheets for maintaining my record collection. I wish there was some kind of remote or cloud access site.
Doesn't find a lot of music doing the scanner. Manual search finds it most of the time when scan won't. UI needs work and better import /export options.
After a long Sunday afternoon of 400+ album titles, over the course of 8 or 9 hours, I'm having to walk away from this app because the info won't transfer phones. Though Andrew was helpful in attempting to assist, when the same issue arises between 2 new phones clearly it's not operator error rather a jenky app. So my advice is; use this app if you don't plan on getting a new phone anytime soon. However, if you plan to upgrade find another app.
Really good App for cataloguing your CDs & vinyl, initial issues solved with swift response then updates from developer...very frustrating adding UK stuff as app only links to amazon US so lots of manual adding.
Paid for pro version, added my collection, and several days later it all disappeared. Added it again, and it disappeared. Added it again and guess what...have the paid version on other apps and it does the same thing. Had this app for several weeks, and in that time every update changed layout, look color, NOT IMPROVING IT, JUST CAUSING ME MISERY. SO FAR THIS APP IS USELESS. I want my money back, or my album art back.
I've been using this app for probably a year.. My only issue with the update is this.. GIVE ME THE SLIDER BAR BACK!! I loved being able to scroll down so easily with the slider bar.. PLEASE GIVE IT BACK!
App is working great. Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 (KitKat)

A handy and useful app. Glad recent bugs fixed as like this and didnt want to give up on it.
After updating all my album art gone. Suggestions? Don't want the first app I pay for to be a joke
I don't like the update . I can't scan or search for CD.
Its so awesome
Worth 10 stars but only allowed 5. Best collection manager app on the market.
Does just what it says, without over-complicating things. Search results are spot-on and the process for manually adding records or cover art is straightforward. Not having barcode scanning as the only input is another plus, especially if you're adding a lot of old vinyl. Recommended (and a bargain at just over a quid!).

The most basic music catalog possible. Just lists artist and title. No tracks or anything else. The rest you have to enter manually. A pencil and paper would be better. Bogus app. Do not install!
After trying many music apps I purchased this one, It did freeze my Nexus 7 tablet 3 times when adding music, I had to reboot to get it to work. I hope in the future that the developer will add much needed features like, titles of songs etc... I noticed that when I would use my own image it would delete my original image & place it in apps folder. It has great potential
Thank you for the continued support!!
Great Improvements. Links to Amazon for title information, brilliant. Now allows entry of two or more copies of the same recording. Very good app for cataloging CD's and Vinyl. Has many good features for viewing covers and finding titles and category shelving. Has come a long way in terms of being user friendly and ease of use. Keep up the good work, many thanks. Highly recommended.

I also am annoyed by the inconsistent band names and how it files all the "The (band name)" bands under T. But the scanning in of bar codes is big time saver.
It never finds the cd info. However if I use an alternative bar code scanner it can find the information from amazon.
The camera feature usually turns photo 45 degrees...but not always. Need to take photos about 3 times to get it right. If not for this...it would get 5 stars. Won't save to SD card. Gets worse each time I use it.
Luv it
I love the export / import to Google Docs. I would rate this at 5 stars if we could have Condition & remarks columns, PLEASE.
Love this app! Does exactly what I need. Excellent cataloging and wish list functionality. Now I can keep track of all the music I have left to buy.
And no resource for finding out why.
