Units: Either statute or nautical miles, one at a time only, please. km/hr yes, used. Abbreviations. T and M not TC and MC. Accuracy. Speed & altitude need no dec places. No compass or autopilot does fractions of a degree, no pilot steers that accurately. I am in the UK where true=magnetic, more or less. I set destination as Christchurch. The course differs 23degs mag vs true. WRONG. Distance to Chch is NOT 8000 miles. Compass screen should show if GPS signal lost.
