Dallas 311

Used this the other day about a long light and I didn't expect much and figured it would just get denied, but instead of denying they called the next day and explained why my idea wouldn't work due to the line of sight needed at that light but that they would look into making the light change more often in the late hours. Was very pleased with the detail of their response and suggest others to use around Dallas for any other issues they spot.

App isnt working.

GPS software on app SUCKS. And even when you type correct address in information box...Dallas 311 will cancel the request to investigate, b/c they only go by GPS address - and its off by a complete 100 block. So they give up and close it out!!

Useless. City employees don't care about anyone complaints.

Piece of junk refuses to let me sign in and sync with whatever to report anything.

I've used the app to report bad roads and water leaks , you can track your complaint from beginning to end

The app seems functional, but I am most impressed, as a Midwest transplant, to see a city take such a proactive technology approach. Will update review of problems develop.

It's should show the name and maybe location of reporter or a way to comment on the one's that are like "a car is parked facing wrong way on 123 gay st" then the next report will be like "car not tagged 127 gay st, plus car in grass and Mexican music". Get a life or do away with your sorry life

It would be great if you could just type in the address. Otherwise needs work.

Animal reports are almost immediately closed as couldn't find, even when address is given.

Great way to report issues, but dragging the map pin from downtown to a far off location is tedious at best. Fix that and you have a winner.

This app does not communicate directly with the web page. It appears that somebody must manually type the complaint into the web page, thus giving the code compliance people extra days to address issues.

I have used the app to report pot holes in the area. I wait three days then call the city of Dallas 311 they show no record of the app report. I will email the city mgr to get a refund on this app.

It will not populate the location your trying to report it did it once and since it will not allow. Deleting until they get a fix guess I have to keep calling them in. I did like the feature where you could submit a pic of the issue at hand though.

Love this app - it's both helpful and entertaining. Helpful - I can report mistimed traffic signals while sitting at them! Entertaining - laugh at the sometimes petty and ridiculous things your neighbors are complaining about in real time!

why..cause they need improve how we can put location on map..and its does not work right...the ubication..

I reported a street light out and it was taken care of rather quickly

This app would be much easier to use if I wasn't so distracted having to dodge potholes and crumbling pavement all day.

I Love this app, the only thing missing is a Dallas events tab. This app seems to be full of what's wrong with the city. So events tab would add something positive about Dallas.

I thought this would be a quick way to report a public safety issue concerning some open excavation holes in my alley. I got a notice from the app 24 hours later saying "more information needed. Call 311." When I did, the ticket was already closed and I had to go through the whole reporting process again over the phone. Should have saved the time and called 311 to start with.

Most of my requests have not been executed yet. Will change my rating when completed.

I would like to be able to see the reports around the area I am at.

If I can't use it on my primary mobile device, it's no good to me.

This stupid app wont let you just manually add the address it just takes u to a map that halfway works, ridiculous. Worthless.

Now we can make this City the way it needs to be, safe, clean, secure, and Beautiful...Dallas get on board, get this app
