Learn Japanese: Counting Guide for Android
I may be using the app wrong, or missing something. But I downloaded this from a Google search for a specific counter, and when I opened it, there were only about 10 or 20 different counters listed, and I couldn't navigate to any other screen or find more counters. Is that all that there is? I sort of expected a search feature to be necessary due to the large number of counters that exist in the Japanese language, but this guide just seems sparse.
Doesn't counting start with ichi, ni, san, yon, go, roku, nana, hatchi (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) and not to mention that it doesn't speak/translate or allow you to repeat the words to see if you said it correctly.
This app is no more useful than a pdf containing the same material. No audio and no exercises, which is what would be useful.
It works as described though, possibly it could be better. Having dates and at least a number count of up to thirty 30 might make the app better.

This is only a small fraction of the counters. If you put more effort and listed more it would be an excellent tool!

Now this is a very useful app because it's all about counting in Japanese...and I am pretty sure there is not another one out there just about numbers...way to go guysgreat job so you get5 stars
This app is simple and effective at helping you learn the counters. It would be nice if the hiragana was listed as well though. Thanks.
This is a cool app, very useful when trying to learn Japanese.
But how about the countings of animals... i only see countings of people and objects
No voice?
The only reason why I gave it four stars is because it didn't have a section for the days of the month
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!!

It's a very quick reference guide. But one thing I noticed is that the counter for 階 floor has a little "mistake" if you could call it that. For 3 it should be pronounced San-gai instead of San-kai. Every japanese I know says sangai and I've never heard it pronounced as san-kai.
