SMART BRIGHT

I was excited about the possibilities of controlling the lights via an app but disappointed when I saw how few options there are. There are just four settings (one of which is just a combination - so in reality only three settings), none of them particularly good. The setting 'twinkle' should really be called 'flashing' and is quite unpleasant. 'Sequential' doesn't live up to the name either.

Incredibly poor... not cheap to buy but such low quality hardware and the software matches. Waste of money and time.

This is the worst set of lights I have ever bought. Unimaginative light settings, twinkle is misleading. I get more options out of a £5 set. Newer app doesn't properly either. Cannot change password, or SSID. Timers don't work. Forgets settings.

I had some initial setup problems (I dived in like all gadget geeks do!) but after actually reading the instructions properly, I managed to get it working :)

Jan 2016 update does not fix timer bug as it claims to. A truly useless piece of software made all the worse because you cannot operate the lights you have bought with it.

Unable to enter the full SSID as the input box can only accommodate about 12 characters (SSIDs can be 32) Unable to enter the full password, again, the input field is too small (8 rather than the 32 it needs to be). Will now have to faff about renaming my wireless network and shortening my password to accommodate some sodding lights.... So, renamed my WiFi and changed the password.... Turns out that the connect button doesn't even respond. Don't bother and take the lights back.

Updated version still not loaded - come on get it sorted! WiFi version no use if you constantly have to reprogramme.
