About Remote Parking
The Remote Parking App offers functions to customers with vehicles which can be connected to the Internet and which are equipped with the Remote Parking function. With the Remote Parking App, you can park or exit a parking space using a compatible end device as a Bluetooth remote control. You can also use exploration mode to manoeuvre the vehicle (e.g. in a garage) without being in the vehicle. After activating Remote Parking Assist (Remote Parking Pilot in older vehicles) on the infotainment system of your vehicle, you can begin performing the manoeuvres using a compatible end device. When doing so, the vehicle key must be outside the vehicle, but within a certain distance of it (normally around 3m).
Please be aware that a Mercedes me account and a compatible end device with a Bluetooth connection are required to use this App. The range of functions available depends on the vehicle configuration, the acceptance of the general terms of use of Mercedes me connect services and the terms of use of Remote Parking Assist/Remote Parking Pilot. These must be confirmed by the vehicle’s main user who can be identified on the customer portal of Mercedes me connect.
The App requires access to telephone functions in order to be authenticated for a secure connection to the vehicle.

Simply doesnt work, goes through all set up steps and then doesnt connect. A simple carrot to sell cars but its nice when its not vapourware and things actually work!!

Contrary to what it says Mercedes website it is available and working. It took me a while to connect to Bluetooth and I had to disconnect previous connections.

Refuses to connect with my nexus 5x, pin is not recognised when pairing. This is pathetic for a rather expensive option that I am unable to use!

It never works, the preinstalled VODAFONE SIM is suppose to be 3G or greater, but acts like a dial up modem taking all the to connect and when it eventually connects the App won't respond or take command to start car and it has now got worse since new so called enhanced upgrade to App. Absolute Rubbish

I have given 5 stars when it works...reading all other comments I understand frustration. after months of emails with Mercedes, discovered that pilot only works with Android 6, not version 7 which so many modern phones run with. Change your phone and system will work like mine now does
