Mercedes me

2 months ago this app was great. Now you have to clear the app storage just to get it to run. Also, one of the best features as a hybrid owner was that you could see your actual trip consumption rather than the 99.9 mpg displayed in the car. That seems to have been removed in the latest release. Very disappointing!

Mercedes local people can't explain what it does.. shows no data about my car.... And now never connects. Too complex for its own good. A d no one in the UK team can explain why I don't get any data. . Do I need an adapter... Is it installed ...???

This one of the worst apps possible: unstable slow and often unable to do what it needs to do. Mercedes unworthy. We drive a B 250 e (full electric). Thus app is hardly useful for a full electric car. The same is true for the Mercedes GPS: why are charging stations not included? Especially with the very low real driving range of this car?

When you have to uninstall and reinstall to get it working it rather defeats the point. I used to love being notified if I left my car unlocked. Now it doesn't do it because it's crashed in the background. Really really disappointing in the 18 months I've tried to use it. And what's the deal with the tyre pressures ? Psi or bar I could deal with.

Power cycling phone sometimes enables connection. Activation a nightmare and gave up after customer service asked to to twist passport on screen for 10 mins. My fault for not having German identity card.

Terrible! Sure hope I never get stranded and need to use the unlock feature. The capabilities of the app are even less than the US and they still can't get the basics done correctly like logging in. Having to uninstall and reinstall an app to be able to open your car is unacceptable. An after market car alarm would be more reliable.

Rubbish! Mercedes is a prestige brand and should be ashamed of this app. Totally wrong location - because of this app we thought that our car was not where we had left it and broke short a night out. The app was wrong and our evening was totally wasted. Really Mercedes??? Also glitchy and as others have said needs constant reinstalling. Get this sorted - you are embarrassing your brand.

I have never ever seen such an unreliable application and services yet. 90% of the time: can not login please try again later. The support is also lazy to answer.

App no longer connects! Constant errors. **email about expected major update 1st September, hopefully this is what the team are focusing on with no resources left to fix the current release even though it's tarnishing it's own reputation!

Used to work well, about a year ago. Now, it fails to launch every time. The only workaround is to uninstall then reinstall. When it does work, the functionality is too limiting. Extremely poor offering. Mercedes should know better.

I thought the jaguar app was pretty bad but at least it worked. This constantly crashes, forcing an uninstall and reinstall to get it working. Come on Mercedes, we deserve better than this!!

edit: It won't start at all. Only reinstalling it helps to get it to work - one time - until it crashes in the background. Internal Error while starting "Fault Code: 500-WS" since 2 weeks. Poor programming! When I got it to start the experience was also way worse than on the iOS side.

Since last update will work once then will not connect again until phone restarted. Almost unusable phone is samsung s7 come on mercedes do proper testing before releasing new versiob

Great app? Well used to be. After last update, there have been repeated connection issues. It won't connect. You have to uninstall /reinstall, only then it connects. Is this how this app was intended??? Pathetic

Mercedes Me seems to offer a lot of functionality, but the app exposes none of it. Confusing, over complex interface, seems you need to go to the Web page to actually do anything.

App now working again after latest update so all good. The only negative I have is why can't the tyre pressure be displayed in psi as that would be much more useful?

It checks the cars status and unlocks and locks that's it. Sending an address is not so straightforward but when it works it works. It would be nice if it alerts you when the car is broken into or a window is smashed or alert you to when the parking brake is off. I just read someone tracked their car with this app, I wonder how? because since the last update it rarely connects to MB servers. UPDATE, if you clear the app cache it works fine. This is a common fault with some Android apps that don't update the cache when not in use. I hope Mercedes get this sorted out and add some more useful functionality to this app that cost me £150 when I ordered the car. One more thing TYRE is not spelt TIRE! Why isn't tyre pressure in bar or psi?

Not bad and has potential, buy why on earth does an app that tells you that the car is open and a window is open not close the window when you lock the car from your phone. What's the point of locking the car with a window open. Only a few lines of software somewhere. Mercedes are wierd like that, some simple functions just are not there, even opening and closing windows from the key.

Was working fine upto about a month ago. What went wrong??? Same has all the other reviews. Keep having to reinstall. Locking and unlocking not working now:@ Please get it sorted.....

Is it me? Having spent more on my car (which I love) than my first house, I am unable to fathom out how to make this app work. Also spent hard earned money on an add-on that is equally rubbish. If you look at the Navionics app, the customer support is constantly responding to reviews and offering advice or the opportunity to pm them to resolve issues. Look and learn M-B

Unbelievable that a company like Mercedes could allow such a badly written app to be used for their vehicles, shame on you Merc! Terrible connection problems, freezes on updates etc. Phone Elon and ask how Tesla can get it right and how German engineering has fallen so far behind US Tech!!

Used to be good and reliable but as of recently it has become unusable. Never logs in unless you clear the data. When you want to send an address to your satnav this is the last thing you have time for. Very unfortunate that this still hasn't been sorted out.

ERROR, ERROR, ERROR???? Please sort this out Mercedes. You can build some of the world's most amazing cars and the most prestige brand of car, yet you can't even sort out an app. C'mon guys.

Works very good, notifies when the door is open, I can check fuel level, tire pressure or open the car remotely via the app. My rimms even match in the picture now. In the app is explained you can send navigation locations to the app or you could add locations in the app. Yet this isn't working for me. Awesome app, needs maybe some fine tuning on the location sending (this would make it easier as adding it in the command online system which voicecontrol is less convenient as the old Becker pilot map)

Pathetic. Never works. Always a connection failure. Daimler you need to hire better programmers!!

Still have to reboot phone or tablet to connect since latest update. It's a good toy to show to colleagues and friends but quite useless as an app would do better with a database of journeys an consumption instead of the one trip it registers !

Pointless to be honest have to delete it and reinstall to get it to work every time defeats the point of paying to have the adaptor fitted when I got my new car can I have a refund please ?

You have to close the app every time or it won't connect no matter how many times you try to reconnect. Also, inability to change units to metric, functionality from the Web app is missing (I'm driving E hybrid) and this has been going on since I bought the car half a year ago. Does Mercedes-Benz even know about this? Sometimes it fails to activate pre-entry climate control and says nothing, despite claiming that I'd get notified in case of problems. Sending POI to car navigation is a nightmare and usually doesn't work. The very basic functionality is working but that's about it.

Great when it works. More often than not it's useless waste of phone memory. Rarely loads up on phone always says try later. Rubbish

Dealers have no idea what to do, won't connect, have never got most of the functionality working even before it stopped connecting. Very poor from MB

Not working. You have to delete data,Each time you want to access application,and re-enter email and password. Contacted Mercedes,no solution yet. Update 31/08/2017 Not connecting again. Rubbish. 18/09/2017:: I don't think Mercedes team even look at these reviews. They just don't care. Why is this app still on.

For some reason this app does not work anynore, however if you logon via browser it works fine...now just a pointless app..very disappointed

Mercedes, are you going to fix this app or what? It's clear from the reviews that it's been broken now for months. You spend tens of thousands of pounds on a car and the app doesn't work. Pathetic!

Unreliable, poor connection. Not what you would expect from mercedes. Seems to work better on iPhone.

This app has always been poor, the web app is better (but still not great). It's so irritating that the c350e cannot display more than 99.9mpg in the car but at least you could see it in this otherwise rubbish app but now you've capped it at 99.9 like the web app and the car. Why WHHYYY!!!??? When I contact you I am asked to phone or you start resetting things on my car when it's clearly related to the app, I shouldn't have to spend time you should just fix it.

Hate to join in but this is less than poor. Come on my TV and home heating has more functionality.

Can't change miles to Km. In the Uk they have the same problem where they don't use km but miles. This is not rocket science and I would expect of MB to make sure of these basic settings before allowing app developers to profit from basic stupidities.

My big mistake this year 2017 is buying Mercedes Benz .. in the branch they deal very bad with customers and waiting for hours to meet one .. so bad application and never works from my phone .. everytime had to open browser to check and limited action than the application as I saw it on YouTube. My previous car was from one brand I don't want to to mention it here but really I missed how they manage everything with people and there application work as a charm never go down .. so bad mistake never do it again and buy from Mercedes specially from London. It's shame on Mercedes Benz to make application and not working fine .. waisting time with Mercedes so easy for them. Hounesity is what costumer wants.
