Daily Bible & Devotionals Plus

I am very thankful that the devotionals/scriptures/verses which reminded me most of the time to be compassionate and giving, but I need more reading to remind me to be content and empowering. Is it possible to once in a while sneak those in? Thank you Devs... Update; thanks Devs for the great devotional today I read. You deserve 5 stars...

A great daily devotional app. Very stable and easy to navigate. The devotionals are very good and there is a vast archive for any you might have missed or for further reading. Used each day for over a year, like it a lot.

Quite varied and wonderful devotions. Have read these almost daily for several years.

Having trouble with the 'remove ads' function, it redirects me to more ads, happy to pay to have them removed.

It's good, but the current devotionals have all been posted before and old devotionals that I am already familiar with don't have the same effect as new ones

The main section is very good, but I especially appreciate the 'deeper' section- which now has much improved OCR, or better editing, or sources, or whatever you've done - making it much easier to read. Thanks

Basically good devotionals, but have moved in to some controversial areas of belief that I can not support.

It's great to have access to a verse or devotional when you need it. I use it daily.

Great app! I've used it everyday for years! But since the last update, it can't find any new material. I tried re-installing and lost all the content I already had. Even the archives come up "No Item Available." What can I do?

The main section is very good, but I especially appreciate the 'deeper' section. There are some minor errors due to the source having been scanned with OCR. Though usually just a minor distraction, could volunteers help edit these?

after contacting app designer was able to update app and now all is restored and app is functioning as before. I am very pleased with this app once again.

I really enjoy this app! I love the devotionals and scriptures. I look forward to reading it daily! I really liked this app before the update, now the option to even get it via email isn't working why mess up a good thing. I paid for this app and now it isn't working properly.

A Scripture reading and a devotional reading for every day. With a full collection of previous readings. GREATEST and BEST I have seen.

Makes understanding the word easier

I have had a love/hate relationship with this app for the past couple of years. The content always great but updating had been unreliable and frustrating often going days or weeks without new content. Finally the developer seems to have overcome the problems and for several months now updates have been coming smoothly each day. My ratings have varied between 5* down to 1* and uninstalling - it is good to be able to recognise the improvement and to finally restore the 5*.

Nice modern UI, good devotionals although more suited to the new Christian, with added benefits of daily themed collections of Scripture. All well and good if you're a Christian in America. But if you're part of the wider Family of God & live in Europe or anywhere else.. often the Devotionals will arrive so late as to render them useless as DAILY reading. Wish i knew this before I paid for it. Other USA Apps out there deliver on time every day. Sorry devs, but I'll be sticking with this honest review.

Over recent months updates of readings has become very irregular. At the end of a month there may be no updates for several days in one or more categories and then a heap downloaded in one day. Also there have been no updated "Latest Bible Verse" readings for the past 5 days (since July 25) with no explanation. It is disappointing that a previously great app is no longer working as it should. A daily Bible Reading app without daily readings isn't very useful. Downgraded from 5*

This was once my favorite daily devotional, but it is all too frequently not updated daily. If you can' t get new updated material daily, why call this a "daily devotional" ??? and why should you pay for it ??? My frustrations have led me to uninstall this app.

Great daily app for devotions

The app is wonderful but must be up-to-date. As I just found it, I am reading the old devotionals which are great. Please, update so that we can read fresh daily inspirationals.
