AWINGoat

The AWINGoat app is a tool to assess welfare of adult dairy goats on-farm. It was developed within the frame of the AWIN FP7 EU project (www.animal-welfare-indicators.net) by researchers of Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy) and implemented by Daia Intelligent Solutions (www.daiasolutions.com).
The AWINGoat app enables farmers, veterinarians and technicians to collect, store and download the indicators included in the AWIN welfare assessment protocol for adult dairy goats (first level welfare assessment, http://dx.doi.org/10.13130/AWIN_goats_2015 ).
The app generates an immediate output, which gives a visual feedback about the welfare of assessed goats, highlights positive conditions and enables comparison with a reference population. Full database consisting of all the collected data can be downloaded in CSV format.
