Daff Moon Phase

Great app. I just installed yesterday and working with it a short time it fits my need perfectly. Simple to use and has very useful features that make sense to package with the primary moon phasing. I am really impressed and really like the app so far. I wanted a moon phase app to support my camping and outdoor activities. Looks like I found it. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Easy to use with basic information about rise/set times and moon/sun phases up to complex orbit calculations. Navigation is easy. Adfree.

Cool app, but the notifications don't work.

It is a wonderful app- my favorite. Why? Planets positions, moon etc shown clearly relative to each other in excellent graphics and data available succinctly displayed. Well done to its creators!

Tons of in-app info, sunrise/set moonrise/set/phase widgets are great and blend with almost any background, awesome work. All the views, all the planets wait inside. Beautiful!

Great and very informational app for anyone who would love this sort of information. It's easy to use and has great working widgets, and notifications for things like solar/lunar eclipses. It is detailed yet not too complicated, and world's very well, practically the only thing I think it could use some work on is how the notifications work for events like solar/lunar eclipses.

Sun/moon/planet calendar. It's pretty good all round. It would be even better if the 'orbits' and 'sphere' were animated. I'm sure that's not impossible to do and it'd make a good app into a great one. Cheers. Donal

I have been reading about how Venus is visible (barely) right now both before sunrise​ and after sunset. I couldn't understand this so used the Daff Moon sky to advance the sun and Venus an hour at a time, and saw exactly how it happens. Excellent!

Absolutely amazing. Just one more thing. Widget text is in yellow colour. Thats very bad. Plz change it to black or give an option to change widget text color in settingss or option to remove it completely. Reast thank u for this amazing job

This is a GREAT moon app that also provides Sun and planet information. Made a suggestion to allow 12 hour AM/PM as well as 24 hour time and developer incorporated this change. The widgets are very useful. Would love to see a monthly moon phase widget added. Good job!

This is amazing. I can't believe how much work and detail went into this and how simple it is, it's free and No stupid jiggling, pulsing ads for fake virus cleaners in every corner or skanky 18 year old girls advertising chat sites! Woah! My only issue is why, to enable notifications for planet rising do you need access to my photos and call info? Call me paranoid. Also, I really dislike apps jammed with 100 of 5-star reviews that are empty spam. It makes an app look desperate and tacky and this is NOT. ps TY for photo Q and A !!! Youre awesome. am sending u donation, and already got many others hooked on this, even strangers in parking lots who looked at my phone and went "where did u get that?!?"

Daff moon. Where have you been all my Android life? I have been searching for an app like this since my very first Android phone about seven years ago since I had a similar application on my laptop which i love so much and boy does Daff moon do the job. Detailed information on the solar system in real time following. Awesome! My only wishes are that the lit part of the moon goes dark when the moon sets and yellow moon also applies to moon widget. Great app.

Was really excited about this app, looks very cool, but it won't let me set my location. Will be uninstalling if I can't get it to use the correct location.

Amazing app! While I wish this app would offer a version that uses the Sidereal zodiac signs for the Moon, Sun and planets, which is the one that NASA uses, I am pleased overall. However, as I continue to learn how to use this app, I am extremely impressed by the amount of information that is available! Subsequent updates have made me pleased that I paid the nominal fee to support the development of this one. Great job!!!

A lovely application, full of detail and colourful graphics. Lots of information for those who already possess good lunar knowledge. And therein lies the rub. I feel like a 'moon moron' trying to figure out this app. Without a built in help guide, most of the app's data goes straight over my head. I'm particularly puzzled about the sun rise / set times, which are given to be shortly after midnight and early afternoon for my mid continent, North American location. (April's actual rise & set times here are more like 6:30AM and 8:20PM lately.) But I must be misinterpreting something obvious here :s

Unreal how much info is included in this app... I just wanted to see when the Full Moons are every month and when it Rises and Sets but the app shows SO many other things like Sunrise and Set, Moon and Sun Eclipse plus SEVERAL other things = TWO THUMBS UP :)

The compass idea in Sphere is a great idea but it's not interactive. It should follow the phone compass until user touches it to override the POV.

Informative little app. I just love it. No ads, just an occasional request for support, which I gladly gave.

I was looking for a moon phase calendar with no adds. This application does that (in a very user friendly and clearly presented fashion) and more. I would have preferred to have less features and a smaller footprint. On Android 4.04 the application needs 23 MB of memory and takes 5 MB of storage (most of it on the external SD). Overall very happy with this application. In addition it is free and can be used on older Andoid devices (Android 2.2 supported). Many thanks to the developer.

It's a really fun app I couldn't stop messing around with it when I downloaded it. The moon's so pretty to watch when you fast forward the days hahaha. Nice app and widget, too! I just hope they'd make a widget that combines the sun and moon that's as informative as one of their few Daff Moon widgets. Cheers!

App overlay has to be turned off. Why? Just for sttings, then can turn back on? My main wallpaper HAS to have it on. I will read further b4 attemping this one. Cancelled out when it got to this. App still opened and appears to work.

I was looking for an app for the moon phases for my astrophotography planning, and I got this and much more info in amazing presentation. Keep the good work.

It's an awesome app. Especially with the notification features allows me to set the major planets event at my own local time. The sphere view and the available data for each planets are more than what I wanted. All in a free app. Thumbs up!

I've installed several moon phase apps, and I think this one is the best. It's image of the moon is more accurate, and it has good widgets.

Thanks for your response very helpfull. The question was awnsered and that gave the 5 star rating. You show the location of every planet in the solar system and your layout is great. No other moon sun planet app does this. Love the selections of the widget

I've been searching for an app with all the up to date and correct information. This app gives you that and so much more. My favourite is the planets widget. So cool and informative. Keep up the great work :)

...There is one thing is missing: on the widget, the zodiac sign of the Moon is not displayed - add that and it would be perfect!

This is the best app for people who love to know about plants and or moon in the night sky. This app can improve but it is fine.
