The main use for this is probably something like interval training, or anything else that requires you to have a (complex) series of alarms. I personally use it to create timers that don't just go off once but periodically remind me when the timer's up (just add a 1 minute timer that repeats 99x). Kinda hacky, but I haven't been able to find ANY OTHER ANDROID APP that allows this. I just wish I could stop sub-chains (so the routine would jump to the next item) so I could set up more complex work-routines.

Does what it says, but the interface is atrocious

Initial setup reflects great flexibility.

N70%

No documentation. No obvious means of adding existing 'events' to 'chains'. Dev's website is unresponsive - does not come up at all (10:00 AM EST on Nov. 16, 2016). Computers/Apps should work for us and not us for them. Took a chance with it only being $1.00 but would not purchase again.

N70%
by N####:

lacking in many features. no screen keep alive, no visual indication of which chain event is active, backspace deletes 3 characters each press, no indication that pressing Back is how to save, no cancel action if not finished, either cancel or save.

Good app. On my HTC have problems with volume on alarm. Other than that works well once you figure out all the functionality.

Right after I bought this app, I found several bugs. One of them (duplication of numbers) makes it useless for me. Reinstalled it several times, but the bug is still there and all I got is a harsh reply from the developer Agapitov that he couldn't be bothered to fix it. I find this attitude unacceptable. Update: the rude and inappropriate reply from the developer speaks to itself.

I bought the app and several days later it checked to see if it had been authorized. Now it's not chiming. What's up with that? Also, a help menu would be useful. It's fairly complex.

Best chain timer app for Android. I have created several events & chains. Among them: Pomodoro, Reading, Reflection Time, Coffee, Writing & Study. They're easy to create and export to a different device. I have it installed on my phone & Nexus table. App is easy to use & effective. It's really helped me with creating more focus time. I use it every day. Highly recommended.

Text & notification appear visible only in notification panel which has to be opened to see information about event. A pop-up notification as added option would make this even better.

I wanted a timer that i could program to time reps for a workout. This app is not pretty but is simple to use and does exactly what I need. Love it!

The reason I got a refund is that I can't stop the sound when the timer goes off. It's the most basic thing about sound-silence, and I can't have that on Galaxy Note 3 . You should totally work on that . I'll check back later (I really will). Nice app though. Thank you :^p .

I would rate higher if the alert tone played when other media was active. I want to hear the alert while listening to podcast or music.

Waaaaaaaaaaaay too much work to set a simple timer. Turn the app on, and 15 mins later you can start using the timer (too much time to set up)

I wanted a timer to act as a 'virtual director' so that I could work a camera to a storyboard in continuous shots and have my tablet talk me through the shots. This app is amazing, it handles that task with ease, and it let me record director comments for each part of the storyboard! This timer is incredibly flexible, I can't imagine ANY kind of sequence that this app could not handle. It did crash when I tried to re-record a microphone recording, but after that I was a bit more careful and it was fine.

I use the "Clock JB" timer more, mostly because number entry is easier, but also because it lets you stop the beeping. When labeling an event I have to manually delete the word "Event". If using numbers in the label, it doubles the number, then I have to backspace.

Love it. Infinite possibilities and combinations. Can pause, resume, cut, paste. Keeps me on task. Update: still love it, but have always had some problems with deleted events reappearing. Copy and paste, works well, but cut and paste brings up old events, and they won't delete. Also, pause function can be unreliable. If you wait, say, an hour before resuming, it adds extra time to the event.

Looked for a looong time for this - - an app that could handle complex chains. I teach fitness, yoga and meditation. I set up all the different timing sequences I needed, gave each one a descriptive name, and now I can just select the sequence I want and press start once! THANKS. Oh, and I love being able to cut/paste timers for building similar sequences.

I really love this timer... I would have given it more stars if it was possible. I only have one suggestion to make it really really perfect: please add "text to speech" . It really makes customization much easier, and is much easier than recording your own voice. Thanks

This app works great paired with my Pebble. I have the notifications setup with messages like "20 minutes left on lunch" to remind me of when I need to get back to work without checking my phone constantly.

I use it for interval training. Maybe I don't know how to use it but would like to see a repeat function instead of programming the same two timers seven times. Galaxy S3
