FR: The Amaging Shinsengumi

People seem to forget that the characters from Hakuōki did exist in real life - though they most likely weren't such bishies. This game uses the same names of said real life people and fits them into their own story. This app is actually pretty good. For the price it was worth it. Some parts of the game are predictable and the choice of wording isn't the best, but the uniqueness of each character is what makes it a good game. I really loved the art also which brings it to life! Overall, good game~ ♧

I love it...but the price... Its too expensive to pay 10+ for just a few chapters and the story was too rushed and i didnt get to enjoy th romantic quality of the story. Please drop the prices and i would willingly buy ALL the chapters and download ALL otome games by D3 Publisher.... please... pretty please.

I loved it, the setting was phenomenal, characters were really nice, music was good too and it actually made me want to buy the next few chapters!! Let's start saving ^^ The first free chapter I felt was really generous too with the prologue so thank you very much :)

Heisuke Todo's route was amazing. Very detailed mature stuff. Make sure to buy not only the main route but the date also. Worth the $6 for his route if you're looking mature content! Amazing. O.o

Shinpachi....refreshing change,wish he was a love interest for certain other shinsengumi games. But Sano will always be my man,just cant say no to him.

Like many people with this game, im getting a connection error message. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection and the game was working fine a few days ago. My rating will change to 5 stars once the issues have been fixed

I wasnt having any problems with the app until 2 days ago that it started giving me connection errors even though i do not have any errors with any other apps i have. Great app but just fix whatever issues that are happening bc no one can enjoy the app until then.

I played two routes, i bought Soji and Sanosuke and both stories are great! the arts are remarkable, and as usu. The way they blink and move adds up the ambiance in otome gaming. but.. there's this thing. I suggest you guys change the BGMusic for the 'romantic scenes' the sound is quite high pitched and too energetic, it kills the mood for me.. whenever that particular bgm comes up, instead of a soft flirty music, it sounds to me like its a bgm u can listen to during winter while u go skate or play in snow.

The art work and everything is outstanding and remarkable, but it's not what I wanted. The character designs are unique, but not the original ones I wanted to play. Plus, this is a whole new story, I WANT the original characters and story line, I just can't stand playing this. Nothing against the game, of course. Just... need to work on their personalities more, just a tinsy bit please. ^-^'

For those of you complaining this is not the original, OF COURSE it's not the original. Anyone with two eyes could see that and anyone who read the title properly would know that. Stop bitching, moaning and complaining about redundant and ridiculous things as that. You want the original? Go buy yourself a frickin PS3, the game itself, and play it. You can even purchase the mobile version as well. But you're gonna have to spend money to do so. That being said, I have yet to play this version, but am looking forward to it. I know it's not the same and that's precisely why I want to try it out. For those who have not played Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, it's a good game but extremely sad. I'm looking for a version that is not as heartbreaking. Voltage has their version and apparently Forbidden Romance has theirs as well. I look forward to playing both.

I downloaded this app because it looks awsome but when I opened the game it said there was a connection error and couldn't load the data.But all my bars were good I had perfect connection but it still wouldn't read data!

I wanted to let people know that this is NOT the PSP/3DS video game called "Demons of the Cherry Blossom". While this visual novel is nice it is actually a knock off. They used the same date able male characters but just tweaked their looks and personalities some.

I love D3 Publisher games. The main stories are of reasonable price in accordance to the "team effort". And this may be based on the real Shinsegumi but NOT Hakuoki (a popular take of the Shinsegumi in psp) Shinsegumi is one of the most historical figures during the post edo period and I can personally name a lot of anime and otome game spin offs about them. True that the datable characters are the same but if you read the real history of these men, you'll see that only "them" has a story to tell.

NOTE TO PEOPLE CLAIMING THIS IS A RIP-OFF/COPY OF HAKUOUKI:It is NOT both games have characters based on the Shinsengumi who were REAL people and a major part of Japanese history, that's why the names are the same, as well as some of their personality traits because they're based off the actual people. I got Soji's and Hajime's routes, and oh my god Hajime is just so adorable! I absolutely loved both routes, but I think Hajime was definitely my favourite, although Soji's route definitely had better CGs.

If the app says free. Is should be completely free or at least say something in the description about having to buy the next! MAKE THIS FREEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

I was not expecting to pay, but because it was cheaper that buying a $20 DS game I figured I'd give it a try. Hajime and Shinpachi are my favorite-the other stories didn't quite make sense to me. Sure the main character can be a bit of a push over sometimes, but the choices you're given allow her to have some backbone.

I would give it 5 stars if it was all free to play instead u have to pay for chapter 2 onwards

I guess it is ok. Sorry i cant help to compare it to another game w/almost same characters so probably its my fault for not liking it too much. I am a bit expecting a different personality when i bought my fave charac's route. The music is making me sleepy too so i didnt enjoy it much.

The cost is a bit steep, but after I got all the routes I was though lyrics pleased. I have actually gotten all of this publishers Otome games. I'm now waiting for the next one to be released!

It won't even open! I tried your other games and it worked well! So why does this one won't?!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled this app several times and it is telling me that there is a connection error. I don't know why, my connection is strong. Please correct this issue, I've looked at this game on my iPhone and didn't have any issues. I recently switch to an s note 4 and I've downloaded other apps with no problems except for this one. Please help me.
