Cyanogen Camera

My camera worked fine for 1 yr and now the app cannot take photos with back cam. Front cam works perfectly fine. Even video works fine on back cam. No issue with the cam. It works in google camera, snapchat and whatsapp but not in camera app. Whenever i click the photo button app crashes and shows black screen in back camera mode. I have to restart the phone to use back camera again.

Very much lagging can't even take a picture quickly and worst part is it gets crashed. Please make it fast. Average shutter speed is 10sec seriously this is so annoying.

HDR function is not working. Captured photos are not saved in device please fix this..pictures are not clear clicked in night small dark black spots are captured. You need to fix this. camera sound off option is not present in this app. I hate my oneplus one phone because of bad camera quality. Oneplus one is Compare with Moto G4+ in camera , Moto G4 + is best than Oneplus one and the price of Moto G4+ is less than Oneplus one .very very very very bad camera app I ever seen

Can be better...!!! No option to turn of shutter sound???? Weirdest thing on a camera app I guess. Needs improvements in many aspects. Hopes from this app are quite higher, it can be better than any other. Keep doing the good.

Whenever I first opened the app I worked fine. Then I experimented with different settings like HDR for example and the app froze when it took a photo. It keeps freezing momentarily every time I start the app now and it force closes.

I like the app a lot on My OnePlus but it can be better. First of all a higher slow shutter option would be nice like the Oppo Find 7. Secondly there is way too much noise in pictures and videos. The high slow shutter option should be main priority. Then I'll give it 5 stars.

First, a bug: Even if I select 9.7 M (16:9) the pictures turn out 4:3. I like my phone pics to be wide-screen so hopefully that gets fixed asap. Other than that, I really wish there was a software stabilization option in settings (outside of clear image) and HDR needs drastic improvement.

It's a really good app with a lot of functions but what I'm concerned about is the frequent crashes especially when I set my camera exposure time to other then auto. The camera app crashes and when I try to go on the app again, the last camera that I was using would not work and keep crashing. Please fix. Plus I suggest adding photo sphere so I can capture a scene from all round. Thank you

Camera is ok, but too slow compared to others. Also, there are no settings for saturation, contrast etc in camera before shooting, you need to have to do everything in post. Need more manual controls and faster speed. Video mode is again not very good, there is no separate controls for continuous auto/ manual tap focus for videos.

I was previously very critical of this app due to continual crashes, especially when combining slow shutter speeds and raw format. However, since a factory reset of my OPO, it now performs perfectly . By utilising the full manual control facilities, it now produces images that are BETTER than my iPhone 5s. This is the only Android app that has achieved this. Hopefully the stability will remain in the future. Further UPDATE: This app is fundamentally flawed. Believe me I have tried to make it work.

I purchased oneplus one a few days ago. Initially the camera was good just a lil blurry but gud. Now after clicking selfies or using the back camera I get flipped images. There is no option for flipping it back to normal!! Its very annoying! Even the videos are flipped.And sometimes after viewing the pics and coming back to the camera it hangs. Pleaseee fix it!

No idea what camera those who give it 5 stars are using! Upload images they look pail and washed out. Look OK on the over saturated phone screen but prints look like you took photos in fog! Crap!

This is the worst software for the one plus camera. If you go yo video mode and stop recording the screen should automatically go back to video screen to prompt for next recording. However this software forces it to go to the camera mode that to avail. The screen hangs on the last shot and doesn't let you proceed. Although If you click on the capture icon the system captures the photo. Absolutely disgusted with the experience.

Capture button needs to stay on same side! Jumping to top of the display on landscape is confusing plus holding phone on that side just gets my fingers in the shot. RAW save crashes camera in slow shutter mode.

Max zoom on 13mp one plus is 4x only, auto focus of more than 25m does not works with human faces, shortest focus is 10" and anything closer will b a useless photo, please resolve them

Its very easy to take panoramas photo. The weak thing is that I could not take wide picture on regular mode. It is wide when we take but will be 4:3 in the result. Its happen after last update. (One plus one). Now I cannot turn on flash after update to cm 12. All problem are solved by restoring setting to default

Recently this problem has come up where the photo sound and animation happens but the photo is not saved. The only solution is to either enable raw image files or reboot the phone to get photo saving working. Stay away until this is fixed.

There has never been any problem with my one plus until it got updated. But after the up date, camera malfunctions. Vedio does not work, panaroma as well. So what are you doing with updates.

when the raw mode "ON", using slow shutter speed setting for more than 2seconds, this camera forces stop and require reboot. the camera can't be used unless reboot is performed. definitely bugs to be fixed!

Before I updated to cyanogen 12, my one plus camera was taking stunning photos. But after the update the photo quality has degraded down to below average. Photos are getting blurred even after giving them enough time to focus on the object. So much disappointed.

The camera on the OnePlus One is very capable but it is sad that performance is not up to the mark. And what the hell is going on with the camera UI., that is one ugly design. Please make changes to the UI and get MINIMAL, get with the program cyanogen.

Even though OnePlus One has cyanogenmod as it's stock android, camera is a major set back. The sensor is 13mp but the pictures captured are no way close to even 8mp. This app crashes a lot while capturing HDRs and panoramas. It is like cyanogenmod team is introducing new bugs while fixing the existing ones.. Ultimately I am not soo happy with the camera app. So using google camera even though it has very less features.

Great Camera overall Can improve on these fronts: a. The viewfinder is not true to images - the aspect ration 16:9 is not the same as the sensor 4:3 * b. There is no option to make colours vivid from the standard, which looks pale * c. The AWB is on the colder side * d. The HDR has sharp outlines sometimes * e. The click to capture has some lag * f. Clear image takes long time to capture * g. Need to introduce a low light mode that captures 3 fast images and combines into one low noise low light image - as seen in Mi4 * h. The panorama is in alpha phase * ********** Having said all of this, it can still be the best camera + app combo of 2015 if android L camera APIs are made use of; Gyro is used for image stabilization etc...

great features, however the algorithm which decides what ISO, aperture and speed to combine is not photographic. setting e.g. ISO manually to 1600 still shoots with low speed and thus takes motion blurred pictures. I miss the function to have speed or aperture priority mode. or auto mode where I can take pics of moving images without blur. also, it measures the settings for a shot when holding the cam still, if it moves, it measures again. it should lock in the settings in a better way.

If I set the quality to 100% I get pictures half the size of the ones I would get if I set it to 95%. Low light pictures are horrible compared to other apps. Also, the flash is disabled in HDR mode and there,s no way to turn it on. Please optimize this app to take advantage of the great Sony lens on the opo.

with auto rotate? When auto rotate disable its effect in camera app which normally shouldn't happen with others phone, I prefer to disable auto rotate always but when i use camera in landscape position it still capture portrait. Please fix thanks

Clear Picture and HDR form a very effective combination that covers respectively low light and high contrast scenarios. Mode changes and shooting are fast. Shooting modes act also as video settings. The ability to save in raw format allows for the use of image correctors. Picture quality is on a par with camera FX. The only problem comes from above-average software instability.

Sometimes it takes a picture, sometimes it switches off the display. I think when camera app is open the power button should only take pictures and the feature to switch off display by pressing power button should be suspended.

Where is the rule of thirds grid! It drives me crazy it doesn't have one! Also the recent update took away the camera animation. Sometimes this app freezes. So please fix these issues! Then I will rate 5 stars.

Why can we not record at 60fps in 1080p at normal speed (not slow motion) with audio on our OnePlus One's? The hardware is more than capable but you don't implement it in the software!? That seems insane seeing as other flagships have offered this for a while

Good camera with many features and good image quality. The only thing that does not always work is capturing images with long exposure times (4 and 8 seconds). In these cases the camera often crashes and can only be used again after restarting the phone. In most cases the last image before the crash isn't saved.

It's a fine well featured app. Not the best but OK

Needs some serious improvements despite having a capable hardware performance is too bad especially in low light

CyanogenMod Camera is a good camera app: many awesome features and usability (grap n' snap in smart mode). But the overall performance is not that good. I still use this camera for Slow Shutter, Slow-Motion, Time-lapse, and my GF use Beauty Mode for Front Camera.

I don't know what i happened with this update but i an very disappointed.i was recorded a funny moment on camera but after i saw it again there was no sound! This only happens when i record videos on my rear camera.

It's got features and even potential just fix the bugs and stability and performance a bit because the camera lags in auto mode with raw turned off please fix ASAP

Many times it takes very long time for picture to appear in gallery. When installing Google camera in parallel the app crash a lot and get very hot. Please urgently improve or remove from oneplus ROM

One reason cm and oneplus split is oneplus rushing to release the phone before taking. How dumb can they be?. Cm wanted a few more months with the phone and didnt get it. It is a great phone, but i can only imagine what it would be if the chinese oneplus with no experience had listened to the pris. I'm glad Microsoft is teamed with Cy now. Android is about to be obsolete. Extreme fast Mictosoft phones with ability to use apple and android apps without androids inability to use intels processors. LOL
