Toggle Data 5.0 (root) for Android
I've been using this app for free for many years after getting it from XDA. It has worked flawlessly everytime so I thought I would buy it to help the developer and thank him for many years of use.
Worked great when Secure Settings failed. Multirom miui 8 rooted via supersu
Able to set mobile data for me on Marshmallow when no other app could.
Is your device rooted? Yes. Device was rooted 1 month ago with Kingo Root. CM12.1 installed and Gapps all working flawlessly. Developper options activated with root access to adb and all apps. Root Checker app also and says device is fully rooted. No other rom tool or superuser app except CM12.1 which includes SU root access. ....... ... Update1: Thanks for the fastest reply! Noticed SuperSU installed nonconfigured, accessed and allowed all apps root, Toggle Data works great now! TY! Tasker next.
I think the "Widget" is the wife of a gremlin, but all these little widgets I have gotten off these guys work quite well, no bad news so far.
The developer shouldn't claim 6.0 support with so many saying that it doesn't work.
Worked great on LP, however it seems that it's broken in MM. Error is shown, error #2 - command service not found.
Doesn't work on my phone with tasker and Android 6.0 no worries. Seems I'm not the only one with the problem of controlling mobile data now that I upgraded
EDIT: I have been relying on this app as a Tasker plugin since the transition from KitKat to Lollipop. It has never let me down. I can't speak for the widgets, as I've never used them, but this software has been well worth every penny for me.

Great app! One suggestion--I don't use the widget, so there's no way to tell by looking at the app icon if data is on or off. Is there a way to modify the icon when data is on or off? Thanks to the dev for staying on top of Google's many changes!

Secure settings was not able to toggle mobile data with tasker and this does.
Bought it, but it does not work. Gives error -1 and asks if my device is rooted.
Thank you for your work and prompt answer. It seems like the built in root for CM12.1 doesn't work with this. Even if you grant root through the privacy guard from cyanogenmod it will have an error. Installing SuperSU as recommended seems to do the trick. THX!
Installed on HTC one m9 rooted, and tried to use it but it didn't work. Was Easy to use and set up with tasker, but not useful for me due to presumably hardware.
Don't work. Uninstaled.
I dont know how to root my galaxy s5 (at&t) and it's updated.... Plz help
Works Perfectly as a widget or through Tasker. I had some trouble getting it going because I failed to read the requirements section fully (I.e. SuperSU required). I contacted the developer with a question and had a response back in five minutes. Very Impressed. Thanks!
Excellent, functional, does what it claims very well. Responsive developer.
Tasker toggle data doesn't work anymore after upgrade to 5.1 on my nexus
works like a charm. it's even working flawlessly with tasker.
I've been using an older version for a while now that I downloaded from the xda forum. I should have paid for this by now. Great work.
I created 3 custom images, in order to make the on/off status more prominent, and shut off the constant status msgs via supersu's notifications disable option (for that particular app). Both were easy, and the result works perfectly. Thanks for creating this nifty data control for us lollipop users ;-)
Using Moto G with lollipop. This app is Not functioning ,It says can't toggle your mobile data, is your device rooted? Help needed.
It asks for root permission entirely to much. This will likely run down my battery. I had to greenify it to keep it under control. The only data manager that I know runs under Lollipop.
