PowerDVD Remote FREE

Says compatable with ALL my devices, ok I have it on my Asus phone and guess what it doesn't work. Just keeps saying "Unable to find PowerDVD" I am using PowerDVD version 16 ultra. I have both on the same network so why it can't find it I don't know. Bloody PCs you spend more time trying to fix them then get anything done.

In addition to the below, the latest update has removed the Play/Pause buttons on the remote. It has fast forward and rewind functionality, but no pausing. Go figure. My Wi-fi signal is strong, but PowerDVD keeps dropping the connection to my phone app, saying "PowerDVD Device Disconnected" after only a few seconds. This makes the app literally unusable as a remote and thus pointless.

Used to work. Now doesn't find program running on PC, so doesn't connect. Phone (with this app) connects to router via wifi. PC (with PowerDVD 13 Ultra) to same router via network cable (not via wifi). Only 1x LAN. Only 1x wifi network. Does app only work if PC connects via wifi now? If so, why remove previous functionality?

It's a decent remote WHEN IT WORKS. Whether or not it will see a LAN pc seems dependent on whether or not your phone decides that it wants to use 4G, airplane mode, WiFi settings, battery level, the phase of the moon, and the closing trend of the NASDAQ. I paid for your software, the least you could do is a teensy bit of reliability testing.

I love having my phone as a remote! The problem with it is it seems to take about five taps to pause the movie or click the mouse for it to be effective. Also, the play/pause button is invisible, and there's no chapter-forward or chapter-back buttons. I do love the 8 seconds back and 30 seconds forward buttons.

Pairing with my PowerDVD software was easy enough, but the navigation mode uses a "Tap the screen anywhere" mechanic for the enter button, and it just doesn't want to respond 9 times out of 10. After numerous taps it finally registers my input, so I just use my keyboard anyway.

I have Power DVD Ultra 16 installed and the remote feature activated. Both my phone and PC are on the same network. This app fails to find the PC repeatedly. It's a broken feature.

Some items are clunky but for the most part the app does a decent job and can be really smooth over wifi. But it crashes and disconnects incessantly. I have a very strong 2.4g and 5g network and full powerdvd16 ultra but it is still unreliable and this app crashes at moments where I want to pause/adjust the playback. Just use a bluetooth keyboard&mouse.

I have PowerDVD 12 Ultra and it gives a passcode, but this app doesn't ask for the code, just tries to pair automatically. Would love that problem fixed

The app itself works, is awful that the touch control are a mess, to pause, fast forward, click or change volume is almost impossible and very frustrating I'm considering asking for a refund of the ultra powerdvd I just purchased for 70usd!

Absolute rubbish! All options greyed out! What is the point???

Olease merge keybard and mouse together give live logo of keybard over mouse somewherr .... and make keyboard live . Not like sent this is totally chutiyapa .

Application navigation is extremely sloppy. It is extremely difficult to get the application to respond to a simple enter command.

Seems like it doesn't work on 5 ghz channel only on 2.4 ghz.

I've tried all the suggested fixes, but this app has never managed to connect.

This app needs work to be compatible with all devices that it supposedly is compatible with. I have this app on my iPod as well as my phone. It works fine on my iPod 5 but the pause function and the click function of tapping the screen doesn't work most of the time because of sensitivity. Instead of registering a click the software registers movement. The phones I've used it with are the galaxy S5 and S6.

Google instructions! Turn off mobile data, turn on Wi-Fi only same Wi-Fi network, use remote Pc access your in, The App needs further updates, mouse mode missing right click, please update this remote module features please, I'll even offer money to pay for a professional remote version!

Would not connect to power DVD 16 on same WIFI network. Could not find troubleshooting guide.

Samsung note5 hp 360 both on same WiFi network and it can't see power DVD v16

Can't find the pc every time I try, seems many others share the issue, wtf, DO FIX THIS, WE PAYED FOR YOUR PLAYER !!!!!!

I am able to connect to my computer, but is about it, from there I can't do anything except move the pointer around the screen.

My dvd remote has been broken what I have in !y mind u know I go to playstore and download power dvd remote and I see the movie and enjoy

Awesome! Great having remote control on my phone. Much better than the mouse and keyboard VB board to operate the DVD functions and video. Love it!

A lot of work went into this app since it came out. Now an excellent companion!

It works good. No big deal why can't we get Bluetooth support

It disconnects quickly on 15. Please improve it and make it compatible with 16.

Ok app but sucks at there is no bluetooth option. I'm hardwired on our bb and would mean having to swap out. Add a bluetooth option work too

Says it's compatible with PowerDVD 13. Load up PowerDVD on computer and have both computer and phone on Wi-Fi. The remote can't find PowerDVD. Can't control my player if it can't find it.

Can't connect via WiFi to a computer connected via ethernet to the same network.

This leads to useless app. Sad

Keeps disconnecting. Keeps changing my powerDVD to TV mode, which I hate.

Every time you press mouse it crashes.
