Needed an app to play music on my Nexus 7 this is performing very well so far . I use my device to stream music to my Bose mini speaker using the shuffle mode without any problems. I can't speak for Video or photo modes because I haven't used them yet.

I'm assuming if the music was stored locally this app would work fine. It does see music stored on a network/NAS but only playing a song that you select manually is easy. No library functionality for the music on the network.

4-14-17 Update Thanks at least for the reply Cyberlink, but my orig review is almost a year old. The background change is ok, but not crucial like (Video/audio Crossfader)option, and other hot options below. Still a very basic video player. (2.7 -5 stars) This player has good potential, but Cyberlink developers of it, have apparently gotten lazy in developing it further, as many others have said, it really needs to be improved alot, before it can be a good player. Some of the issues still encounter. 1. Player terribly designed, where it auto deletes and cannot read again all your saved Video playlists created from connected usb drive, also is not user friendly in building larger video playlists, have to add drop 1 file at a time, could not find any easy option to select multiple files, & drop into desired place. After all that time to bulid playlists, it will not play it again, even with same connected drive. Major design flaw! 2.Hardly any setting and video resolution & sound options still. 3. Player still takes a longtime to load and read connected mp4 files, and skips over many videos, still cannot even read M3U files. This player, still needs many improvements.

Just amazing simple and straight forward and the feature I most like, no intrusive ads unless you selected

Lame app! Really slow to identified my photos!

No sound in mkv files some avi doesn't want to play.

Very excellent all in one app for your entire Media collection including Google sphere 360°photos. Yes you can view your store 360°photos using things exclusively using this only App in the Android market. Just go for it & install it.

I been using it from last 2 years.great app .if I have option to play any video as mp3 it will be the master of all media player. Very nicely organised .

Great compared to other apps but there's less 3d effect which for background music. I would appreciate if 3d effect is tuned more.

Awesome app. However- while in playlist mode, upon completion of a video, it goes directly to the next video and plays. I would like to have the option of the app going back to the playlist and stopping after the current video ends...

Needed for creating video playlists. Would like to control play speed. Playable file types may expanding.
