PowerDirector Video Editor App

Video quality is notably worse after editing and exporting on my Note5. Especially noticable on outdoor sports videos. After exporting, video has a grainy texture to it that is not in the original video. I used the highest quality export on the paid version. Other than that, its easy to use and well laid out. However, the video quality is lossy after export and that is a deal breaker.

I think it's missing the ability to set "transition" animation like fade in/fade out at the start and end of the video video, but it has one for audio. It also lacks the ability to insert image or video at the beginning or middle of the video/project, it always adds after the last clip. Or maybe I just haven't figured out how to do it. Best movie maker app so far that I have come across. I paid for the full version nonetheless.

Geez :( i got it for tge 4k export tgat works fine but i puts peoples names at bottom of screen in every video. Why do i have to individually move the words to the bottom of the screen takes forever. Also i seen the slow mo but dissapeared setting are so so hard to find OMG :( please do something

This app has everything! It's so much easier to make videos now since I don't need to use all these seperate apps that only work not even half as good as Power Director. I would recommend this to anyone, and the $6 charge for extra features is totally worth it.

This App is Amazing! Words can be put in, cropping, music, And more! This app is the best! Couple thing I would Suggest 1. To be able to put pictures in a video not as its one separate bit and the cropping feature doesn't really work so if you. Would fix this that would be AMAZING!!!

Love the app. Really good for edits. But can you please Fix it so the music and clips can be more accurate when playing it in the middle of a song. It stresses me out having to go back and forth trying to get good timing. Please and Thanks

Good app but it so annoying when the audio doesn't line up properly while you edit it so you think it's in the right place but once you produce it, it's completely out of sync. Then you need to spend hours trying to fix it. Very dissatisfied.

Recently updated my device to the s8 and one thing I've discovered is that the app no longer allows me to add photos with transparent backgrounds if I add video effects to them please fix. It would be nice to produce my photos as video maintaining their transparent background. Also every edit and insert of audio adds a very loud pop this is not good please fix for 5 stars again

It's great but I have a 20 minute video using this app and I have a normal speed before a slow speed and after that I have a normal speed again. But why does it take forever to load the slow speed when it gets there? Can you please fix and I'll rate 5. It's an amazing app and I love it.

Really like the app, but when trying to use the included audio clips, it says "can't connect to the server" no matter which device I use. Fix that error and I'll bump it up to 5 stars. Issue still present in ver. 4.3.2

Worst app i have ever used. I have been facing soo many problems with this app. Than i purchased the app but still i am facing the same problems. It stops anytime when i am editing the video and shows error when i try to produce the video so that i can save it my gallery. Highly disappointed with the app. Even my money is got wasted twice behind this useless app.

Theres a popping sound whenever theres an edit. Please fix that? Also the latest update only allows one layer? Theres used to be 2! Pls let us have more!

Very great app! But can you please add in a chrome key for green screen? I downloaded kinemaster but I didn't work as well as this one! Please add a green screen option...thank you! Than I'll rate 5 stars!

I found it a little confusing at first but it didnt take long to get the hang of it. Its has alot of features and no adds, so far. It is worth downloading to create memories that are more creative and entertaing . nice job!!

This is exactly what I was looking for!! Been trying to find a good video editor for a while, and this is the first one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get the full version, it also gives you plenty of options in the free version, and it does EVERYTHING you need!! Super easy to use, and I love it!!

I absolutely love this editor. It's very easy to use, looks professional upon completion -- as much as any video created on a mobile device can be -- and it includes great features such as the ability to add music, images at specific points throughout the video -- as is the same with text and stickers -- and special effects like Black and White or the TV Screen. However, there are many other features this editor could do well to have. These include greater special effects -- like the ability to add an animation such as an explosion -- or giving the user the ability to 'warp' or 'distort' an image in the video (i.e. a person's face). 5/5 Stars, but would like to see additions. - Josh

I really like this app but if there were more sound effects and mabey some music i would have rated it five stares. Over all its a very good app

Hands down, best android editor thats Abailable! My only frustrating AF problem with it is that they've messed with the precise timing of audio tracks & overlays, where for some reason it they now have to line up with :the beginnings or ends of transitions, or clips & the fact that if u accidentally delete a sticker feature from ur device, its impossible to get them back! (u just get an error/ missing file warning) so worth the $ to remove the annoying watermark tho! PLEASE ADD MORE ACTION FX, like explosions & magic looking thingys! If they meged with Viva Video (or just copied their FX) , it'd be a 5+ ☆ app!

I love the app. It works great, but there are two bugs in that make videos look unprofessional that hopefully will get fixed soon so I can put my review to a 5 star rating. 1. If you make cuts in your video, at the cut points the audio tends to make a popping noise. This especially true if the video has a lot of sound at that point or if you adjust the volume up for that clip. 2. I'm always getting a line or two of repeated pixels at the bottom of my video unless I crop it. It doesn't matter were the source video came from it always shows up and I have to crop every single time to prevent it from showing up in the final production. Even videos made within the app were I cropped it to get rid of the line, when reusing it for another project, it shows up again until I crop it again. Please fix these issues and I will gladly give it a 5 star rating. Thanks. Using an LG V20.

The first true editor on android. Helps you make movies on the go. I wish it adds the basic effects of video fade in and fade out. Adding a chroma key feature will make it unbeatable.

Good app, fast editing, fast processing of videos. It also has some great effects and transitions. 1 suggestion from my side is to provide 3 overlay layers option instead of 2. 3 layers are most commonly used in all the videos. (1 for video, 1 for image/logo and 1 for other in-video stickers. If feasible, than please implement this...

Nice app, but Pro version too expensive. I will pay max 3€ and at the end they will earn more then now coz much more people will consider to buy it.

I've been doing film and videos for almost 40 years. Through the many years, I have seen the brut advancement of technology and what's available in the industry. This particular app falls short with what's available in the market, for example.... 4k editing. All these are available on free apps so I would think that a paid app should have them as well. As a professional cinematographer, I really don't expect for a practically free app to do pro work. But the competition is fierce and I defiantly won't mind paying for something more useful in the professional world. I won't even mind paying for the upgrade. I own Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Sony Vegas ... but now I edit on my tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Portability and ability to view my video shots in 4k on the tablet is a define move in the right direction. Now, only if my editing software can keep up with the technological advancements I'd be a happy camper and would definately give you 5 stars. My ratings are based on usability in the professional world. That said, I do highly recommend this app for a regular consumer which needs editing ability. There is no better app out there that has a professional feel like this one. But in the professional world ... you fall short of today's basic needs for us pros.

Great App for Video Editing... Only One Thing Is Needed... Cropping Is One Of The Basic Thing To Do In Video Editing... Pinch To Crop Is Not At All Good... I Request You To Add Other Mode For Crop...

I've searched across the horizon for a decent editing app without having to sell my first born child in order to afford an iPhone, and it's well known iMovie. I can finally make eye contact with people when I say I like Android.

From video creation respective in terms of being an gospel artist making the video that do it has been very instrumental in creating from the device I do have available to me until such time my good laptop is up it has been very smooth and operational I have not had any conflicts so far with this app

I paid for the premium edition and i tried to finish a project and it took an hour to get to 25%. It was a 12 minute video. Thats unacceptable for a video editing app. I wish i could get my money back for this.

Great app! Get the premium version. It's worth it! Very easy to use. Already recommended it to a friend who also makes music. This is not Final Cut or Premiere. I don't care. It gets the job done in a fun way.

Hands down, the best video editor mobile app I have EVER used! Maybe even better than PC editors. I purchased the paid version immediately. Powerful, smooth and easy to use.

i would have given five star but i gave it four just because there is no green screen background solution like its there is kinemaster .i love your app i have even purchased it but this the problem in your app it does not support green screen effects.

App is really good, but the lack of precise audio mixing is a deal breaker. They NEED to add better audio editing features in this app.

I love this is so much me cousin's and my sister did a video of expectation vs reality and a video about camping and it's also good for memories and for having fun I really would recommend this video is really good and fun

Honestly best app for editing is has everything I need. A little crap on frame rate but amazing

Only app I use for editing videos on my phone, would be a 5 star if they add reverse the video feature to the app. Easy setup and perfect for learning how to edit videos

I love this app the minute I used it. It's super easy to edit my MLG meme videos. I hope that in the future more features will come out. It's a really amazing app.
