Update: All the issues I had earlier seemed to be fixed. Plus the app feels smoother and even faster than before. Thank you; that's all I ask for. Original: Clearing cache/data fixes scroll lag. Microphone permission is required to use this. Seriously? Also now I found it mutes my phone.

The update added in a small time table, but showing only the next 3 buses is beyond pointless. I want the old time tables back because I could see everything and plan accordingly. Why remove the most important functionality from a bus tracing app?

The previous version of the app was essentially useless. Thankfully, the developers recognized the issues and/or read our complaints, because everything works great now. Thanks again! My only (very minor) complaint is that the voice search button is in a somewhat inconvenient location. I don't use it at all, but I do have to use the locate me button, and it's easy to hit the wrong one now. But it's not a big deal.

This app works well after initial performance problems from the data source and then an initially unrecognized problem with my installation. CAT acknowledged, then solved their problem, and reached out and solved my installation problem (re-installation of the app). The interest in helping ensure the app works well was impressive. The app displays useful information but only now can I start to evaluate how convenient it is. CAT is working on further improvements.

ETAs load surprisingly fast, map isn't laggy at all, and the voice command function now has a button to turn it on rather than always listening. Much improved.

It does not work on my older phone, but Transloc does.

Less permissions, faster response.

Times wouldn't load/update before I updated. Now the stops don't want to pop up, and clicking them when they actually do just opens the website. Right now the routes won't even display, and each stop shows their times as "NO [route number]" in gray.

Update: now the app is again usable. the pop up bus times are loading fairly well. still a bit dodgy. I know that they are working in the issues. old:The new app is not helpful at all. Bus time arrivals are the key information and do not show up as they are supposed to. Maybe the load time is just extremely long ...

The new update ruined whatever was working before. Does not show coming bus and ETA on particular bus stops.

The previous version was excellent - did its job well and needed no unnecessary permissions. This version does not work AT ALL. Won't load bus routes, turns off my audio while the app is running, and needs access to my mic WHY? Deleting this spyware off my phone.

This "update" makes the app completely unusable. Roll is back to the old version PLEASE!

The update is horrible. Why can't just let it be the way it was before. And why to you want permission to record using my microphone?

This app is so slow in loading bus stops and schedules, which is very frustrating.

Good app, but sometimes the bus arrival times are way, way wrong!

The map is unusable. Clicking on a bus stop causes the app to crash. My Favorites only display one favorite. It appears that information only one stop can be displayed at one time. This update is inferior to the original and should be retired. The design is second rate and the app is not ready for prime time. Unfortunately the original apparently no longer works but should be brought back. Very difficult to coordinate transfers. It is not worth the money that the City wasted on it.

All I can say is, what happened? This used to be one of my most used apps and with the last update it just does not work. I should not and will not allow a transit app to record audio... that's crazy. Very frustrating because now you have to guess at when the bus will arrive. No one should install this app until it's fixed!

The updated version doesn't work for this phone. Also there is no way of knowing when the bus come to my area using the timetable.

Every time I open it, I get "unfortunately com.cville.cattail has stopped" and then it force closes

"Unfortunately the program has stopped" and forced closure every time I open it.. can we not just backdate it to function properly?

I keep getting your program has stopped error message. As someone who uses this to get around town, this is an inconvenience. I am operating on a newer OS, so this should not be an issue

Don't install if your phone is newer than 2014 using Android. It won't work. Use Google maps instead.

Update 7/8- still doesnt work and your reply was vague. You've also never replied to my emails. Terrible. Since last two updates, wont work on GS4 mini running KitKat. Can't see the timetables or bus stop ETA. Just a blank screen in the app. Really stinks because i just missed the bus because it was early and the app didn't work....

The app works fine as far as stops are concerned, but I can not get the time table to work. I see the list of busses but when I click on a route the page is blank with no route info.

Originally didn't work with my Nexus 6, but now working flawless with lollipop.

Won't install. Might be a great app, I'll never know. Keeps stalling at 96%

Alright

Managed to download and install it, quits every time I load it. Android version 2.3.6, should be compatible. I am now actually in Charlottesville, need it, doesn't do anything for me.

I use it every time I'm planning to take the bus. It's got the features I need without bells and whistles.
