2G-3G OnOff for Android
It's shortcut(blame google for that) for network system settings which allows you change 2G-3G and data roaming mode with 2 clicks instead of 4
How to add widget:
If you on HC, ICS or Jelly Bean:
Open All Apps -> Select Widgets tab -> Find widget in the list
For older versions:
Long click on empty space on your home screen -> Widgets -> Select widget from the list.
If widget doesn't appear on the widget list:
it is a bug in launcher, try to restart it:
Settings -> Apps -> Running tab -> Click on Show Cached Processes -> Select Launcher From the list and click Stop.
Try to re add widget
NOT FOR CDMA PHONES

I wanted to give 5 start, but not now bcoz its not working for my sim-2 in dual sim phone. while its working fine for sim-1. please make this short cut automatically open network connection setting for selected sim. Will come back to rate 5.
Now no menus to go thru to change data on/off or gsm 2g only. At home get better signal 2g only so app makes switch easier by open right menu in 1 click. Switch back when leave home easy. Thanks dev.!
Not a direct access but it does what it says it should. Unlike other time wasting some on/off apps
It's a shortcut to the network settings. The AT&T Note 3 doesn't have a 2G toggle in there so this is kinda worthless.
Does not work as advertised. Disappointed. Useless app!
I know this works on other phones but this doesn't work on my note 2. I can only turn it on and have 4g, I guess its providers option. So 5 stars haha!
A very helpfull app. Dont have to go to setting anymore. Just one click and there you go to switch your network data
Lesser clicks to do the job but the change screen appears after every call on its own. Very annoying.
It's a pity that Android doesn't support a direct switch/toggle for 2G/3G change. Thanks Curvefish.. ..
Useful one to quickly switch to 3g. Would have liked more if it directly turns 3g on and off (not sure if possible) instead of redirecting to settings and me turning on and off from there again.
This app simply opens the mobile data screen. It does not automaically change the network mode as that is not allowed by google api. For some phones, it might be usefull, but for me, I can easily access the same screen by long press the mobile data icon in my window shade.
Its purpose is limited by Android's system itself, but other than that, it's really useful to go instantly into network setting and switch between 2g and 3g. I hope in future they will be able to make it a one-tap action
This app is smooth and reduces the labor to go to settings every time u want to switch over. This is great and handy for users who frequently switches from 2g/3g.
I don't have nothing but data enabled or disabled this app is useless especially when I have straight talk and my internet is only 3g but I went over my my data limit so I am now only getting 2 g data and it's showing 3 g at the top of my screen now if y'all could make 3g go to 2g that would be great.
Good app but can be better, it only is a shortcut to the menu of settings for 2G/3G but it will be great if we can directly have the combo box or drop down to be shown to save an extra touch to open the drop down to change the value. Cheers!
It does what it say. Thx. Simple and quick. I wish only if could do it only by 1 click of the icon.
Does not work on Highscreen Boost IIse. It can open one of two settings pages, but none of those has the 2g/3g switch in it. Android 4.3.
very good if youre not useing dual sim phones. on S6802 samsung galaxy ace duos doesnt work if net sim its on secodary sim slot
Good app, no adds and all that unmeaning full things..!! Simple and very handy to use..!!
After lollipop update 2g 3g switching it's the only thing missing. This app for perfectly.. //Old//This app basically creates a shortcut to the mobile data settings. It is useful. After installing power toggles app which does this and lots more, I'm uninstalling this app
On my Moto G 4.4.4 with the Google Now launcher, installing this doesn't actually add a widget to the list. Has something changed?
It's just amazing to have this app. It's help me to quickly access 3g- 2g comfortably
Easy and quick shortcut to Network mode and 2G/3G settings with one click. Good for powersaving 2G mode when fast 3G internet is not needed
No widget is created no other way to toggle 2g to 3g
This app is fantastic, been using it for years. So simple but so useful!! :)
Нифига не пошла. В списке виджетов не появляется. Попробовал, как предлагает автор, остановить виджет. Результата ноль.
Good app but not show 4 g on statis bar
This widget does not work or even respond to my touch on Samsung Galaxy. Please fix, because I really want this widget!
It doesn't exactly change your 2g data to 3g, but it opens the page where you can do it manually. So yeah, it's an additional step after adding the app but till, it's worth it
One of the must have app. No ads, not heavy on the battery usage, user friendly and best of all, got the job done. What more can we ask for...
why doesn't it directly change the network type, instead of taking to setting..
Brings up 2g 3g toggle setting menu page with fewer keypresses. I'm on Jellybean, Nexus Google.
I'm always on 2G unless 3G for surfing is required and this app is perfect for quick manual switching between the two. Saves a lot of clicks and time.
App kamu sangat membantu walau hanya shortcut. Helpful, thank's.
Is a must have if you spend some time within poor coverage areas. No do what promises with a simple click instead of several touches and swipes... Cyanogen includes this feature as quick configuración button!
This app is completely useless i have no idea how it managed to have 4 stars
Reduces time to toggle. The widget brings you directly to mobile network settings.
Widgets do not show up in the listing.
Does what it's supposed to. Very helpful. I wish the widget would change color to indicate either data on/off, or global data roaming on/off, at the user's choice.
