APN OnOff

Turns data connection on, but will not turn it off. Then it force closes. Restarting my phone did not help. Uninstalling/Re-installing didn't help. Same problem with your GPS on/off widget. The brightness, Wi-Fi, and auto-rotate widgets work great for me. So 3 stars out of 5. Will keep installed in case there's an update.

My data is off and can't be turned on. Messed up my apn and I have to do factory reset! Don't take the chance, don't install. Motorola Defy+ 2.3.6

Messed settings on Nexus S. Couldn't get data at all yet all settings correct, uninstalled, then reinstalled then took back off again. Not risking it

For my phone (GT-S5570) it worked rather randomly. Some times APN was turned off and on correctly, but at other times APN first turned off but then just jumped back on with data traffic, even though it was still turned off in the app, and mentioned as "disabled" in the APN list.

Will NOT safely work with HTC Desire Z! Lost data connection and had a war to Regain it again! Works great on Samsung Tab though...

I'm a little confused. When the app says on it means that it shouldn't waste any credit right? Or is it the other way around?

Completely useless, obviously. How can it be so random regardless off phone model?

Force closes immediately. On Samsung galaxy s3, CyanogenMod. 2/5 cause the company is not obnoxious and doesn't seem to bomb me with nonsense commercials.

I use this app in 4.0.4 to quickly get to the APN list, where i have the working APN configuration and one localhost 127.0.0.0. configured which is DISABLE so i turn off / toggle the APN manually and a little faster. I am sad to tell the widget crashes and does not take me to the apn. Only inside of the app i can click show apn and it takes me there, off switch crashes the program, so put the app icon somewhere handy, PS. I believe the application did work in earlier Android versions so still will give 4 stars,

Terrible. Turned off mobile network using this then un-installed it. Mobile network would not turn back on. Hero

When enabled, data turns on then immediately turns off on new SGS2 (AT&T), then it can take 1-3 minutes to turn on again and many times, it just fails. Author didn't answer my email for a solution.

Works the phone boots up but when you toggle apn on then off again, 3G data is still sent. So if you leave apn off, it works great. Samsung captivate.

I like this app. It works great most of the time. Sometimes though, it will kill any data until I reboot the phone.

works perfect on stock 1.6 ATT xperia x10. one push and shuts off 3g data connection, leaves 2g on for calls. helps save battery

Awful doesn't work have to turn phone off and on just to get it to work. Quick setting app works with no trouble while switching apn on and off

Note you need to turn APN to ON if you need to send or receive an mms msg! I love it, saves my battery a lot. HTC Wildfire.

I love this app on my milestone2... but it doesnt work on the Samsung s4... i get a forced close are you able to fix ? Wifi onoff & bluetooth & gps works... just not the APN onoff

after update doesn't work, crashes every time. removed. it was working good with GB 2.3.5

Works perfectly on milestone (2.1) but doesn't work on Galaxy tab (2.2.1). P.S. I fixed it!!! Deleted all other apns from my tab and it works!!!

I dont like it. It doesnt turn on/off the network. It changes the access point to disabled and then it doesnt enable it back, even if u reboot.

Doesn't work on Samsung Fascinate. Still able to browse web.

Cool widget, especially for free. HTC Desire users - make sure you have the HTC "Mobile" data widget set to on before removing it or it won't work.

Either cashes when widget is added to home screen, or the toggle does not switch the network on or off.

It doesn't work on my Samsung S3. All your other widgets work just fine on my phone but this one is not. When I first install it on my home screen and try to use it, it says "Unfortunately, APN OnOff has stopped" after that nothing happen. It doesn't stop my mobile internet connection.

Really useful For anyone on a PAYG/non contract SIM, this is a godsend. I have a data plan but can't have the phone using that to connect/sync after boot because it'd end up costing too much. With all the Wifi about, I can now turn it off completely and force my phone to wait for an opportune time instead of using bandwidth throughout the day.

Work great, Incredible 2. I installed APN On/Off Widget first bc better rating but didn't help solving the problem. I try this & work like a charm.

was the best widget ever, until ICS came along and now it crashes when trying to change from default on to off. please fix for ICS 4.0 + SGS2 on modded ICS 4.0.3.

Works exactly as it should...3g banner does not go away but 3g is disabled...even if it gets stuck u can select restore apn settings,samsung captivate
