What are users saying about WearTasker - Tasker for Wear

U70%
by U####:

Great job with wear widgets, super handy! But a have a bug with widgets, all of them have different names, but trigger the same task - last one chosen.

V70%
by V####:

Doesn't work

Y70%
by Y####:

Great way to access tasker tasks, but should cache on watch. Takes around 4 seconds to open the tasklist and another 4 per folder.

L70%
by L####:

Works well once installed, but i had to reset my watch this morning and re-bind it to my phone. Since then it won't install on the watch. I tried everything in the FAQ and a number of un-install + reset + reinstall iterations but it simply won't push the app to the watch. Can anyone recommend an alternative?

R70%
by R####:

This app is great, when it works. It suffers from the app taking ages to load my favourites on my watch. If this can be fixed I wish I could give the developer $10.

D70%
by D####:

has not been reliable. Shows on watch but displays a message stating "NO Connection". I hope the app will be debugged.

Y70%
by Y####:

Great way to trigger all sorts without digging out the phone. Use it everyday for sending quick messages and changing phone settings.

N70%
by N####:

Circuil is always rotating but nothing happens

Y70%
by Y####:

Fine. Auto exit currently not working. When it does, I will purchase.

Y70%
by Y####:

Works great

Y70%
by Y####:

However I dislike seeing Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 because it doesn't tell me which task it's associated with and it clutter up wear's app list. I would upgrade to pro if there is option to allow me to rename those to something meaningful, or not list them at all.

Y70%
by Y####:

If it could automatically open when swiping in from left, right, or bottom, just like Wear Mini Launcher, it could completely replace the need for a launcher. And eliminate "keystrokes" needed.

H70%
by H####:

Good App, but needs updates! In my case voice tasker don't work. Suggest: ability to change background notifications! (now they are ugly)

X70%
by X####:

App seems a little slower with the new update but otherwise it seems much nicer. It would be nice to have a black theme option for amoled devices

B70%
by B####:

Tried all the steps in the FAQ. Uninstalled and reinstalled at least 4 times. Eventually the app was pushed to the watch. I never experienced with any other watch apps. Developer responded really fast though. This app looks promising.

X70%
by X####:

This app combined with Wear Mini make Android Wear awesome!

M70%
by M####:

Nice app, but having paid for the voice actions I'm pretty disappointed that after google correctly recognises the command it does a google search for 'Start task 1' rather than you know starting task 1!

X70%
by X####:

I can trigger the notification from tasker to the watch, but cannot use the task1,2,3 on the watch by themselves?

Z70%
by Z####:

I have no desire to set quick tasks on my watch, yet I'm stuck with 3 additional icons on my watch. The app needs the ability to hide these.

Z70%
by Z####:

Pleasen fix this! None of the actions work...

B70%
by B####:

Can't select icon for third favorite task. No longer compatible with mini launcher.

Z70%
by Z####:

One suggestion is to add an option to dismiss the wear notification automatically after tapping. I have one configured as a 'quick action' and would like it to disappear after tapping to trigger tasker. Thank you. Edit: thanks for the workaround!

Z70%
by Z####:

Works great, Is it possible to rename "start task 1" I would like to just say "Okay Google turn lights on" ect, Not sure if it's possible. Cheers

Z70%
by Z####:

Can't test free app

Z70%
by Z####:

Not sure where the in app purchase is, bit this app is brilliant

W70%
by W####:

For what I need it for

W70%
by W####:

Uninstalled. Also requires $3.00 purchase of tasker.

Y70%
by Y####:

It's a good app that can help access my Tasker apps quickly from my watch, but I'm having problems with the voice actions. When I say "start task 1" my watch hears it as "start task one" and doesn't complete the task. Same for "start task 2" to "start task to". Can you change the words so that Google can hear it correctly?

Z70%
by Z####:

I hope the developer gives an option to remove the icons for each task from the wear app drawer so it does note have such a cluttered effect but overall the app is perfect and a real time saver

Y70%
by Y####:

Great app! Would love to have the option of auto-dismissing the notification after launching the quick task. It would be nice to make a shortcut to a few tasks, as well (if there is a way to do this if you don't want to assign a voice command, I missed it).

Y70%
by Y####:

I use this to display contextual remote controls for my home automation. Problem is that you can't turn off haptic feedback so using this a lot drains my battery quite severely. Please consider adding the option to disable haptic feedback. Multiple pages per wear notification would be cool too

T70%
by T####:

Great Tasker plug in for Android Wear! Hope the developer keeps pushing it farther.

H70%
by H####:

App force closes any time I try to set task 1,2,3, as well as on a lot of other functions. Moto 360, OnePlus One

Y70%
by Y####:

If it could automatically open when swiping in from left, right, or bottom, just like Wear Mini Launcher, it could completely replace the need for a launcher. And eliminate "keystrokes" needed.

Y70%
by Y####:

This app is really well designed, and is a pleasure to use - however, it is possible to hide the "Task 1", "Task 2" and "Task 3" menu items in the watch's Start list? They kind of clutter up an already cluttered list. I guess this would mean adding an option to disable voice commands?

S70%
by S####:

I can't remember what task1 or task2 is, we need names we can remember.

I70%
by I####:

There could be same improvements, but still useful to launch tasks by clicking or by voice commands.

Y70%
by Y####:

I don't think most people would like to have to say "start task 1". Rather, have the user customize the command to something more relevant like, "turn on lights" to run a home automation task. I'm confident if this was included in an update there would be a lot more publicity. Its a great app, but would be perfect if this was integrated into it as well as having more tasks available for voice than the 3.

Y70%
by Y####:

Very functional and I really like the notification setting where you can configure 4 tasks to quickly execute. Great app for anyone invested in Tasker!
